Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte Uptown

Very central - we attended a concert at Spectrum Center and it was very convenient to walk from and back to hotel. Bar and restaurant on-site are good, staff is friendly and hotel is very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel

Stayed here for the bodybuilding show it was clean they let us check in early. Staff was great. There was a fee to park and for breakfast but the breakfast was great.

We love staying at Hilton and this one in Charlotte was no different. We were greeted so friendly. The check in process was easy and quick. Our room was clean and cozy. My only complaint was the shower drain. I assume it was clogged because the water quickly backed up and I was left standing in water throughout my shower. I was afraid it was going to flow over into the floor. Aside from that issue, I cannot recommend this hotel more. I hope we have a chance to stay again

In my room 1004 there was not a trash can in the bathroom and that was not sanitary. The only trash can in the room was in the living area

Convenient location to the Spectrum Center. Clean room and working air conditioning. Our room was not ready (along with others whose rooms were not ready). Check in is supposed to be 4pm. At 6:15pm our room was still not ready. We had traveled all day to see Gorillaz at Spectrum Center. We had plans of getting ready in our room and going to dinner at Botiwalla before going to the concert. Our room not being ready ruined our getting ready and going to dinner plans. I told the receptionist we had to get to the concert and she took our bags and locked them up so we could check into our room after the concert. If we hadn't gone to the concert, I have no idea what time our room was ready. Compensation offered was free breakfast that we were told is over at 9am, so we did not get to use it. It was just a horrible hotel experience.

We stayed at this facility for 4 nights and upon checking in I was asked if I wanted housekeeping to come daily or every other day. I told her every other day but no one came until the last day we were there, and it was at 6PM! We told them never mind of course. I also was told that someone would come the prior day and they never did. I tried calling the front desk and housekeeping and no one answered. The friendliest staff was the nice gentleman that came twice to fix the broken toilet. He was great, but my overall experience was a poor one.

Everything was very good except for the room not being available upon my 5:30pm arrival / they provided a comp Frink or breakfast to help pop ease the delay which was a nice gesture

I reserved 3 rooms but was only given 2, due to overbooking. Staff did not care or make any attempt to apologize or solve.

Room was clean but older. They don’t have parking available and I arrived at midnight. I chose that hotel because it said parking was easy and included.

Very close to spectrum arena. Room was not ready at check in. We checked in at 7:30 pm. But staff offered us free breakfast or a drink at the bar.

Room was decent. Pubic hairs in sink. Dining area/common area dated and not inviting. Furniture old. Front door hard to open. Overpriced for quality but decent location.

We stayed saturday september twelfth through monday morning, september fourteenth. As the physical property itself, it was very nice. The rooms were in nice size. As in the staff. We had many issues with the staff, including not being at the front desk. Numerous times throughout our time there. My wife and I were there for a football game and she was getting massages. The same day, and when she came back, all the doors were locked on the front of the building. So she had to walk around to the back to get in. When she got to the front desk, no one was there. Sunday morning, before the game and her massage, we talked to the person at the front desk which again he was not there, when we first got there and we requested the room to be serviced. And that we needed towels etc. When she got back, nothing was done. Which at this time was right around two thirty. She called down to the front desk and requested some towels, no one came. She called 2 more times and no one came. And around 430, she heard something out in the hall, went outside and see what was going on. And there was housekeeping, so she asked for some towels. I got back around five and the room was still not cleaned. Just a total lack of anybody being around to take care of any request that anybody might have is unacceptable. I wanted to say something on monday morning, When we left and low and behold no one was there at the front desk. We couldn't wait around because we had to catch our flights.

Clean room in a good location.

They really like to charge for incidentals related to "air quality", even if you dont smoke! It's $350 FYI.
