Hyatt Place Charlotte Downtown

The stay was nothing remarkable. The staff was really nice.

The staff at the Hotel were very friendly and polite and seemed very happy to be working there. Our room was the best and the restaurant on the rooftop was one of the best I’ve ever seen at Hilton property.

We stayed for 6 days and we appreciated the breakfast and how it changed up on the weekend. We had something different each day. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff! They answered every question with many helpful suggestions and were so friendly, polite, and professional. Our room was clean and our beds were comfortable. The convention center was a block away and we were able to walk to restaurants and museums easily. The one thing to note is that the terrace is a restaurant separate from the hotel and requires a purchase to be in the bar and a reservation to eat at the restaurant. The restaurant also has a semi formal dress code. I would most definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. My flight arrived sure early and they let me check-in early with no problem. The valet guys were friendly and fast with assisting you!

I love this property. It was close to everything downtown. Unfortunately, the parking is ridiculously high and parking overnight in the hotels. Valet is extremely expensive if you’re going to go, try to park on the street but overall it is a great area. It’s close to everything foodwise, entertainment and very family friendly. I will stay here again in the future.

When we booked the room, we were not told that there was only valet parking. I would have chosen another hotel with parking.

The room was clean. The staff were all wonderful. Overall a really great place to stay :)

Hyatt Place has the best city view in Charlotte. Ask for a high level and specifically ask for a city view room. The included breakfast was complete and quite good. Room was large and fairly new. Parking is expensive for the area. The rooftop bar and restaurant also have great views although they are expensive.

The room was very spacious, clean and very convenient. The staff were very helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff, good location and close to shopping and nightlife. The free continental breakfast was great and provided the fuel we needed for our ride home. Although our room was clean and comfortable, the AC unit was loud.

There only seems to be limited staff and they are usually floating between checking people in and running the bar. My room flooded my 2nd night there and I had to move rooms. Only thing offered to compensate was a free drink at the bar but I don't drink. Also cars buzzing by until 3 am extremely loud so make sure you have ear plugs because the hotel doesn't carry any.

I love how the staff was so friendly and the breakfast was pretty good! The only thing was that the valet parking was way too expensive. I heard a lot of guest complaining about how expensive the valet parking is while in the elevator and eating breakfast.

Clean room and large for the price!

There is no pool. It is over priced. The bar is the registration desk. It was so weird.

The situation with chargers for electric vehicles was unclear. The restaurant was overpriced. The room needed better decoration.

Our stay was good, bathroom was not as clean as we had hoped. I had already paid on Expedia and was charged again by the hotel, thankfully I got a refund but it was still inconvenient to have to go back and forth with staff for a refund.

The valet staff was AMAZING! They were so helpful and very friendly. The front desk staff was not as friendly. The rooms and common areas smelled of weed most of the time. The rooms felt dingy. The room was supposed to have 2 queens, but the beds seemed more like doubles. Even with a noise machine running, you could still hear all of the hall noise. One of the only positives was that it’s within walking distance of the Spectrum Center. Otherwise, it’s not worth your stay!

Only valet. And its was more expensive than what other hotels charged for parking.

They also do not want you to ask for extra pillows. We had 4 travelers the pillows they offer were very flat so we requested 3 additional which the hotel declined to provide 3 instead gave 2. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable and seems to have been in use for at least the last 35 years the sleeper sofa even worse but that’s expected with a sleeper sofa. The breakfast was good that’s the only thing saving them. The location is fine great if going to spectrum center. Highly disappointed do not recommend should have requested a refund while there but I did not want to deal with the staff so I’ll just cut my loses.
