Hyatt Place Charlotte Downtown

Room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Room service was great and very timely, Need more staff working valet because everyone checked out about the same time and the staff did a great job under prressure.

Very cozy and comfy space. Not grimy. Well cared for rooms, lobby and facility. Staff very helpful. Great walking distance to many things. I traveled alone as a woman with my 12 year old daughter and felt safe the entire time. 10 out of 10 recommend. Night time sky light is pretty. Dark out curtain worked exceptionally well. We took the Amtrak in. Quick Lyft ride to hotel. Public commuter train is 2 blocks away and easy to use.

Friendly staff and the breakfast. The website says it had a pool so we got the hotel for the location and pool. So my family was disappointed.

My wife was surprisingly excited when one of the Valet Attendants retrieved our vehicle, had it running and opened the door for my wife. We are Southerners, yet rarely find gentlemen mannerism when we travel- at this facility, you will find just that if that’s what you’re looking for. The rooms were large and spacious with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of pillows to relax with. We enjoyed a wonderfully filling breakfast every morning (the bacon was cooked perfectly) to start adventurous day. Now, the rooftop restaurant was not an actual part of the Hotel, but The Fahrenheit Charlotte on the 21st floor had an ambience of tranquillity with a touch of romance. The Bartender we had made us feel comfortably at home, as if we had known him forever. You do not have to be a star to get the star treatment, as I was told “it’s just our job and we like to make you feel at home” I truly recommend this Hotel, their staff and surrounding facilities to anyone… Respectfully yours, Brian

Valet was expensive and slow, the cable went out so I had to watch TV on my phone. rooftop bar was fun, and room was clean though. decent location. front desk staff weren’t the most professional.

The rooms were ok. Smaller than I thought and were clean. On line they said they had two pools . One indoor and one outdoor. When I checked in I asked and they said they had neither. Valet parking was $42 dollars a nite. Then there was the $76 a nite for if you caused damage to the room. All of these are fine but just mention this in the description before you book and not after you already get the room.
