Disappointing

Funky, cool hotel very close Spectrum arena!
-
This is a good walkable location for concerts, uptown restaurants, bars and arts district. We enjoyed the area and felt safe.
-
It was convenient to the Spectrum Theater which I was going to a show that night Nothing. In my opinion it is perfect

I’d consider this to be the “Red Roof” of Downtown Charlotte. Our room was not clean and the toilet seat was broken, but they were able to provide us a different room. No iron or ironing board in the room, you have to get them from the community tools area of each floor. No fridge or microwave, which should be standard these days; especially when you’re paying premium price. The night staff was a very pleasant and helpful guy. The bartenders are rude. They should provide clarity when giving you the complimentary drink chips. Originally told for any drink, but that changed when I placed an order and had to pay out of pocket.

Room smelt of tobacco, not sure why
-
Very friendly staff and the location was perfect for the event I was attending at the Spectrum Center! Only thing that was missing was a fridge in my room No fridge in my room

Superb

The hallways need to be vacuumed . Fresh towels would have been nice to have each day. The phone didn’t work in the room so i couldnt request them. The room was nice overall but very basic. No refrigerator or option for ice, etc

Great location for spectrum center. Clean - $55 per night parking makes it a bit pricy for a bare bones hotel experience. bar was swamped and under staffed.

Staff were friendly. Elevators were down had to take steps to get to check in desk on the 13th floor, was given a room that another guest was already occupying. And I didn’t get checked in until 7:30pm est because no rooms were available.
-
loved the location of this hotel! everything was in walking distance & we received helpful advice in regards to parking from the front desk staff!

Utilitarianism Bed could have been softer

The area is loud. I could hear a woman screaming all night outside at someone. Near the bus depot.
-
clean room, cool bar, awesome place to stay for a night out with your partner. We loved the view and being so close to the spectrum center. Only cons were the wait times to get onto the elevators post concert as well as the outrageous line to check into the hotel.
-
We arrived early as we had to leave our previous hotel at 11am and couldn't check in until 4pm. However, the staff was willing to hang on to our luggage so that we could make use of the day. Additionally, when we came back to check in, there was a line of guests also checking in prior to a concert. We were not there for the concert but rather a family wedding. We were all greeted by a lovely woman who passed out complimentary beverages and kept the line moving as quickly as possible. We were pleasantly surprised by the 13th floor area that allowed us to do some remote work in a comfortable area while we enjoyed a beverage and the gym was more than the average hotel gym, thankfully. Overall, a very good experience. We recommend!

The hotel is located in downtown Charlotte in a really convenient place. We were in town for a concert, and it was great! The check-in was bad. We waited more than 30 minutes in line. Maybe because of the concern, a lot of people were trying to check in at the same time. But this is not an excuse, and they should have planned and added an extra staff member to help.
