The Moxy is a whole vibe the rooftop bar is really nice they also have a DJ lounge games and free water at every end of the bar plus the drinks are not too much we were able to see the fireworks while sitting down awesome

We arrive early after giving a call to the hotel a week before. I didn’t find out that I was being guard extra till I got their is 1st issue, 2nd issue the system had crashed apparently before we got there and during our transaction for payment the system shut down again, 3rd a security guard had to walk us to our room and we had no keys to get back in our room and we wanted to get something to eat. Just getting off the train at five in the morning. 4th just a few hours later when the system came back up, it repeated the transaction on my boyfriend‘s card 5th the workers seem like they did not care and had a nonchalant attitude talking about their issues with cash app card. The problem I’m having with this is: he asked, could he use a cash app card and was told that was fine. 6th we’re still waiting for his refund to go back on his car because we we were told by your staff it’s nothing you guys can. This is horrible being treated this way. Cash app said this is a quick fix if you guys would send the refund. Send the proper receipts for the transaction & flat out assist me and getting our refund back. I am a Marriot member, but I just didn’t book this particular hotel through my app. I need help resolving this issue because it has been too long now and still nothing has been resolved. If your system wouldn’t have shut down, this situation would have never happened. His car was charged at 5 AM and then Marriot came back and charged him again at 3 PM for the exact same amount

Requested on two occasions for my room linen to be changed. In both instances the hotel failed to do so. Location was nominally clean

The bar was one of my favorite parts of the experience. I thought it was a great touch that they give guests complimentary tokens for their first drink. The food was delicious. We ordered the Korean chicken wings and the Bang Bang shrimp, and both were full of flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive. During our stay, they were hosting a karaoke event, which added to the lively atmosphere. The rooftop was breathtaking. It offered beautiful views of Charlotte’s skyline and had games like cornhole and foosball, making it a fun place to hang out. If you’re looking for a quieter moment, it’s also the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the city views. We did have a small issue with our room, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. They were friendly, accommodating, and made sure everything was taken care of, which we truly appreciated. The only downside was the parking. Valet is the only option offered by the hotel, and I do think there should be a discounted rate or complimentary valet for overnight guests. Instead, we chose to park using Charlotte’s public parking, which worked well for us. Overall, we had an excellent stay and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would definitely recommend the Moxy Hotel!

Everything was amazing!

Overall, the hotel was decent. I like the bar and Starbucks was next door. Unfortunately, they only had one valet which was very inconvenient. My room was not cleaned properly. Attention to details. The floor was sticky and the shower smelled. There was hair in the bed. The room itself didn’t have enough space or furniture. It was just okay.

Also, the hotel is all about luring people in with trendy, mock-kitschy trendy decor. But there was no chair suitable for sitting in while working on a laptop.

Parking is a nightmare. Listing says self parking for $45 but it’s actually valet for $55 and they didn’t even go get my vehicle. My group and another group were given our keys and pointed in the direction of where our cars were parked. Staff wasn’t nice at all.

Love the art and the vibe Moxy had a 1 year birthday celebration and it was not advertised.

Overall good stay, was a little strange to go to the 13th floor (yes also strange they had a 13th floor) to check in. Room very nice modern. Got two free drink tickets. Elevators a little slow, but nice that only can get to your floor with a key card. Parking was not in a garage attached rather all valet on lots nearby and was pricy at $55. Overall good stay to walk to BOA stadium.

Our room was efficient and on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed: comfortable bed and a relaxing bathroom. One evening, we had a drink at the bar while an R&B music event was filling the rooftop with delight and it was very enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a short trip for its’ location and amenities.

Staff was so friendly

Nicest and friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered!

1st room had a reallybad odor; however, hotel management was very accomodating and changed our rooms.

The rooms lacked furnishings. They kind of felt like ikea.

No parking, no drop-off/check-in loading/unloading area. Instead they're partnered with an overpriced valet service. Noisy all night, both from neighbors and from street-level activity. At least elevator access was key-controlled (although stair access is not), so the noise could have been worse.
