Great staff and hotel

Great clean rooms and cleaning services, clean property. Refrigerators are vey convenient. Great breakfast and awesome location next to Whole Foods. Some of the food and beverage staff members could be more welcoming - working in hospitality it’s kinda expected, but I understand they could have had a run in with unruly guests - it happens. Overall I would stay again, Element is always a very good option for the price. I only wish there was a pool 😎

However, starting around 3 a.m., the noise from garbage trucks picking up trash was quite loud, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast seemed more thoughtfully prepared compared to other hotels, but the long lines were discouraging, and there were times I chose to skip it altogether. At check-in, my reserved room was unavailable due to overbooking, and I was assigned a different room. After raising a complaint, the hotel provided the correct room the following day. Had I not spoken up, it seems possible the issue might have been overlooked. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent and could be improved, although I understand they may have been busy. The shower water pressure was low, and the shampoo dispenser had fallen off the wall, which was inconvenient, but I managed. I would consider staying here again, though it does feel slightly lacking in value compared to the price.

If you’re arriving late, make sure you call when you are on your way and let them know when you’re arriving. Late night check-in means low staffing and if someone’s in the bathroom or on their break, you might be outside for a bit.

Overall a great stay!! Such a nice location, the staff were wonderful, and the room beautiful. As someone with dietary constraints, there weren't a lot of options for the complementary breakfast, and the microwave kept shorting out the breaker in my room but the staff were quick to come and fix it. Thanks!

When we arrived we were greeted by the friendliest staff. The hotel was beautiful, from the lobby to the bar and breakfast areas. The rooms are spacious with great kitchen area. Location is very walkable to the stadium and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, super staff interactions, lovely eco-centric hotel across the board. The bed was ridiculously comfortable on top of it all. I’d stay here again.

Hotel was great. One issue and not that important was the bathroom sliding door came off the tracks when closed. But overall I would give it a 9 out of 10

Super clean, comfortable and amazing value. I highly recommend! Cleaning came very late for me, mostly after 2 on floor 8.

Good location Bed bugs and smell

This hotel was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at in a very long time. The staff was super friendly and the hot made to order breakfast was also very good! I have a new hotel to stay at now in Uptown Charlotte.
