The room smelled awful and had a wet spot in carpet and they moved rooms. The second room then had an apple juice bottle under the bed from the previous stay. The valet of the hotel is awful. Requested car 5 minutes before heading down and it took 45 minutes every time we requested car. They should not allow requesting cars as then cars are sitting there with no one waiting for them. The executive lounge breakfast was mediocre for a JW. Location is ideal.

Staff was helpful and very kind. It was a very busy weekend with a huge concert lots of people and they handle everything smoothly even though it was crowded enjoyed our stay will definitely book when I visit Charlotte again.

High recommend A+++ Marcos and his Valet Services manager provided exemplary service, demonstrating remarkable efficiency and resourcefulness. To the Administration: I recommend extending the valet lanes. The current landscape area, approximately 10 to 20 feet, could be re-purposed to alleviate traffic congestion and improve vehicle flow. Regarding amenities, I believe bottled water should be provided at the rooftop bar, especially given the resort fee. It is inconsistent that bottled water is available in the gym but not at the bar. I also request access to microwaves for guests. The current process, where staff must heat guest food in an undisclosed area, is inconvenient and could be improved by providing microwaves on each floor, perhaps alongside ice machines. Implementing these three suggestions would significantly enhance the guest experience and yield a substantial return on investment. While i understand the need for cost management, these improvements, involving bottled water, microwaves, and an extended driveway, are highly achievable and would greatly benefit our guests.

The staff was very friendly, courteous and just all around wonderful. Best experience I have had at a Marriot hotel so far. Very clean premises, pull out sofa ready to go for my kids, very fast service (when I asked for towels and toilet paper). Just an excellent experience!

This hotel has great customer service and the air conditioning system doesn't give you any problems. The mattresses were firm. My only complaint was that there isn't enough light in the rooms at night but overall this hotel's good reputation is well deserved.
