Ramada Plaza Charlotte/s End

Very bad place to book a room. I had to sleep in my work truck. Very very very very bad place. Not a good place. They don’t deserve a star

I checked in late around 11pm as I was busy through the day. Once in the room I noticed a few sunflower seeds on the heating unit, but didn’t think anything of it. A few moments later I noticed a roach crawling by the garbage. Again I let it go. At 9am a cleaning person walked into my room without knocking waking me up, she left after noticing me in the bed. Front desk called an hour later and asked me when did I check in. After clearing that up, I returned to my room in the afternoon to lay down and found a roach crawling on the bed. Through the day I killed about 7 roaches. I would have left but at that point room rate at other hotels were impossible

There was no one at the front desk for at least 10 minutes after I arrived. The Ramada is actually closed, and check in is at the Clarion. All of it is in a state of disrepair and very old and tired. The sheets and towels appeared clean, but nothing else did. No restaurant, no breakfast available. I would say the whole building is probably about to be torn down, from the looks of it.

A few Insects in the room. Cracks and dents in the walls.

Zero stars. Garbage. The rude staff wrongly tried to accuse me of “pulling on doors to break in & steal”. Wildly inappropriate, Most ridiculous & absurd thing I’ve ever dealt with in a hotel. They advertised a pool & free breakfast, yet didn’t have either. There was furniture missing from the room. Killed 2 roaches. & someone literally urinated in the elevator. Absolutely disgusting & disappointing. Bad area with several homeless drug addicts asking for money. Also I paid 4 days & wanted to leave the 1st night but they wouldn’t give a refund.
