Studio 6 Charlotte, NC – Airport South

Know before you stay! This place is RUN down. Paid $71 for one nights stay. Homeless people staying in front. Garbage in the halls. Elevator broken. We were on the 3rd floor. No phones in room, glad we didn't need to call 911. No TV remote. Only one working stairwell. Many people live there, questionable!!! Dirty bed linings. Used a blanket from our car. Only good thing I can say is no bed bugs, that I could see, and our car was there in the morning! Lol

This place is unsafe and filthy. Do not stay there.

no pool. no breakfast. microwave was broken. kitchenette of sorts but no pots plates or utensils. whole row of homeless across the street. pot was smelled several times. we had a 5 yr old and were afraid to let him go out the door. also elevator was broken. i did get my 50 cash deposit back though. 7/17/26

Property was horrible

Upon arriving to our room, the door lock was not working. The staff maintenance was quick to resolve the issue and ensure that it was working properly before leaving. The room was clean and it was apparent that management/owner had made efforts to make the rooms welcoming, but there is only so much that can be done to an old outdated building such as this. To no fault of the property owner or management, the surrounding area is very poor and littered with homeless people, loiterers, and trash. This is a fault on and a disgrace to the city of Charlotte.

Pulled into property and across the street near a bridge was a full blown homeless / drug encampment. It was after the cancelation window, but seeing how I chose pay at property option, thankfully the only positive thing I can say is that the clerk allowed me to cancel with no charge.

This place looks like it should be on skid row in Los Angeles. I watched a homeless lady poop across the street onto the wall. Seen several drug deals in the parking lot. I live in Los Angeles and would rather stay on skid row in the DTLA than here but at least they had a few decent channels on TV and the staff are very nice.

The area was super sketchy. There were homeless people across the street that looked like they were dealing drugs,prostitution or more than likely both. There's a $50 cash only deposit for incidentals which is a joke. The lobby smelled like weed. The only good thing was the beds were comfortable.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! very scary and unkept area! i felt extremley unsafe and ended up booking another hotel.

The room was infested with roaches and the mounted tv had been damaged and unable to watch. The staff was extremely unprofessional and nasty. They kept hanging up the phone when I would call to report the conditions of the room upon my arrival. I would never stay there again!

This place was frightening. I checked out immediately upon seeing the room. I should have never checked in.

Rooms are very dirty and you see cockroaches moving around

DO NOT STAY HERE! I never write negative reviews like this but this motel tops the cake. The area it is in is Scary. There was a woman sitting outside my room door with a blatant gun on her lap, homeless people everywhere fighting, my food order was stolen. The photos on the site are inaccurate and the staff is unhelpful and not at the window most of the time. My sink had a huge broken hole in it with a plastic bag covering the pipe could go on and on but need I say more? I was unable to switch rooms or get refunded. I don’t mind staying in sketchy places but guns, crack, violence and stealing on top of a broken unclean room is unacceptable.

The room was very shabby. Like it's for people that are really down financially because the price makes it barely affordable. The staff seem like lackluster family teenagers just getting the job done quickly.

The bathroom had drywall in it that was freshly put there, the toilet paper holder literally fell off the wall and landed on my spouse’s foot, the room was hot and smell like cigarettes. Not to mention the amount of homeless/ drug addicted people right outside the front of the hotel doing gosh knows what, definitely not a safe place if you have children.

There were street walkers and junkies right outside across the street screaming, yelling and making a scene. I felt unsafe the entire time and could not get sleep. When I did fall asleep, I was awakened by a car alarm and yelling. There were guys in masks standing across the street and girls who looked like they hadn't cared about themselves in years. The place smelled and the only reason I stayed there is because I was scammed from another reservation with booking.com. The whole experience makes me wish to never use your services again. The creaky uneven bed, small pillows, remote with no back, no coffee pot but coffee maker present. It smelled, and people across the street made me feel very unsafe.

There was security on site. Door lock worked as well as the air conditioner.

This was a complete farce of a booking- it was one tangential step from an actual crack house. Surrounded by homeless encampments, propositioned by hookers as I walked to my room, rampant drug use, no A/C, such a waste of money. Wildly unsafe. Complete waste of money.
