The hotel was a hidden gem. It was close to Burger King and McKoy's Barbecue Restaurant. We selected this hotel due to my husband having surgery in Charlotte. Would return and recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in or near that location.

I needed a place to stay after my flight got delayed 2.5 hours. City Express delivered with friendly staff, a comfy room, great coffee and breakfast food. Hope to stay longer in the future.

Despite having the Do Not Disturb sign on the door they disturbed us twice for maintenance that should be performed when the room is vacant and not currently occupied by guests who have paid for that room and requested not to be disturbed.

Nice location but a bit noisy from a bar or restaurant next door. The music was way too loud.

The breakfast was good and the room was clean. Airport shuttle was also convinient In room 232 the water wasn't draining properly in the bathroom.Also wish they offered room service to change towels or sheets if you are staying 2 or 3 nights.

Also if you're able to have breakfast outside do it, their breakfast it's lousy, the eggs taste gummie and the oj taste like sweet water. On a lighter note the staff is friendly.
