Ac system was horrific. Not sure if the hotel suffered some kind of water damage but rooms felt damp and smelled of mildew. Staff was helpful in getting me a new room but the rooms were hot. With portable acs in the room. You get what you pay for here.

Very clean and beautiful hotel and the guy who welcomed us at the front desk was very kind and he explained everything fast and helpful.

Just don’t. This hotel is poorly maintained with no amenities in a sketchy location. There was no central A/C in the middle of a summer heat wave of 95+ degrees. Portable A/C units did not get the job done. No breakfast. No front desk attendant on duty when we arrived to check in during prime time. Had to call a cell phone number for someone to show up. It was near a family member’s house and only one short night or we would have left. Eww.

There was a pocket knife left behind my tv and the carpet had a bad sour smell. Staff didn't give the wifi or any checkout information until I asked.

Clean room, good air conditioning, parking is easy

There was no central HVAC. There was a standalone unit in the room that didn’t work well. It kept part of the room cool but didn’t reach the bathroom. I was in Charlotte in August and temperature was 90+ degrees. I took a cold shower and still came out sweating because the bathroom was so hot. The AC unit was so loud that I couldn’t sleep and had to turn it off. I kept waking up uncomfortably hot. In the morning the temperature on the unit said 81. The floors in the room were slimy and gritty and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. After I realized that, I kept my shoes on. The furniture was old. The hotel images show a bar that isn’t open/functional. The property was not well maintained or kept clean. I felt like I was choking on cannabis in my room from other guests. The only reason I stayed was because I was there for a concert for one night and didn’t want to have to deal with finding another place to sleep. I was tempted to drive hours home after the show but it was already late and I was too tired. Pros: the staff was kind, the hotel serves coffee (I didn’t try it though), fridge and microwave in the room, decent gym for a hotel (dumbbells and cardio machines). Although don’t be fooled by the stock imagery showing a lady with a barbell and get excited for a hotel gym with a barbell. That didn’t exist. I tried to call the hotel to talk with a manager several times. There was no answer or VM.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming and the staff was AMAZING! They were very friendly and helpful.

Room was nice. No frills or thrills. Was adequate for what we needed.

For the price, this place is a great deal! It’s also close to a train station, and the staff were very helpful with answering our questions about how to use the train! A few things to note- there is NO BREAKFAST included, but they do have free coffee and a selection of teas. The rooms are clean but there are things in slight disrepair. We couldn’t use the ice machine and the bathtub drain did not fully close (could only take a shower in our room). The AC unit worked but it was pretty noisy too.

The hotel itself is located in a convenient area, walkable to the L and to restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. We drove about 4 miles to a nice greenway where we were able to run 10 miles before checkout on Sunday. I would absolutely stay again, given the opportunity.

The guy that checked us in wasn’t any help. He claim he didn’t understand what we’re asking. He said I’m not sure can’t answer those questions I just started. But no one else available to answer our questions. WiFi sucked the tv’s kept loosing WiFi so barely watched it. No phone in the room if you needed anything you had to go to front desk. No one came by to give clean towels, or to pick up dirty ones. Also inside of hotel/rooms don’t look like pictures on advertising.

Run down property. They do not clean the rooms. Drug addicts, prostitution and homeless all over surrounding area. No security in the hotel. Do not recommend

Unfortunately the room was rough with a lot of chipped paint and a toilet that barely flushed. The biggest issue though was the air conditioning unit which would kick on and off through the night with a loud banging sound (like some dropping a hammer into a metal bucket). It kept us awake all night long. It was miserable. We did not shower or linger in the morning and left as soon as possible. Very disappointing property and would not recommend at all
