Red Lion Hotel Charlotte

There is no reception staff; I had to go to the hotel next door to check in. The main entrance is closed, so you have to enter via an access point from the adjacent Radisson hotel. Upon entering the room, I noticed an unpleasant odor, and the air conditioning unit was old and noisy. When I walked into the bathroom, the first thing I saw was cockroaches. I could have stayed at a Motel 6 for half the price and experienced the same inconveniences; they really ought to be more honest about how they present the hotel and its actual condition.

Nothing positive. I had to book another hotel as I could not bring myself to sleep there. Very unclean, there was a cockroach in my room, hotel stank and looked like an abandoned soviet building inside.

The staff were super kind and respectful Old furniture, weird smell in the room, AC was not cold and I woke up at the middle of the night saw a cockroach walking next to my head in my pillow I immediately woke up disgusted went to the toilet took a shower and grabbed my bag and checked out at 11:30 pm couldn’t stay there!!

We booked a different hotel after arriving. The sight was enough for us to relocate.

like the location convenient stayed there many times on memorial day weekend been great but no staff in lobby of hotel had to check in and go thru raddison hotel every entry and leaving hotel

Cleanliness No

The girl at the front desk was amazing It’s old dirty smelly and you have to check in at the hotel next door the amenities listed are not available what I’m most angry about is saying pet friendly and they are not!

I wasn't even allowed to stay because I arrived from ny to early the girl said plus it was hookers at the spot but i wasn't allowed to check in is crazy

This is the only hotel I will stay when I visit Charlotte NC.

The room was comfortable and the price was good. No breakfast

Place is a total dive. Toilet seat not bolted on one side and dirty washcloth left in bathtub. Place had mold and entry hallway is filthy.

Absolutely nothing. The fact that I stayed there twenty times or so over the last month and I was met with animosity last night makes me sad. The ppl that work the front desk are always nice except for last night and it doesn’t make any sense.

No breakfast Coffee in lobby

The location Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The bathtub was clogged and drained poorly. The room had an old, unpleasant smell, and the towels smelled strongly like mothballs. Overall, the cleanliness and freshness of the room did not meet expectations.

The location was fairly close to the freeway The rooms were old the air conditioning didn't work they only gave you one cup of coffee with a coffee maker for free
