Hotel staff were really friendy and the hotel was close to everything we needed, only let down was the cleanliness of the hallways and elevators. They were so dirty, not sure what was all over the floors but it was there when we arrived and there the following day, no attempt to clean it. The room itself was really clean and the beds are realy comfortable so that was a plus. Breakfast was ok, but very little choice and had to constantly ask for plates and cups to be refilled. I saw others having to ask also, the staff woud put down just a few plates and in seconds they were gone aagin. It was a really busy night so lots of people at breakfast, It just needed to be better organized. The biggest issue I have is the description saying the hotel was walking distance to the AMP where we were watching a show. It was very close but that would mean walking across the highway !!!. I feel the location needs to be changed, we booked the hotel based on the location alone and when we got there we had to laugh, there was no way you could get to it realistically, unless you wanted to play chicken by running across the highway !

The overall stay was excellent from checking in to checking out!!

I liked the room lay out and accommodations. The front desk personnel were nice I liked the hotel. There were some cleanliness issues in the common areas, not the room. The breakfast was late coming out so I didn't get to have much other than muffins and banana and coffee.

As You enter the foyer the lounge carpet and chairs were filthy. After seeing this I knew what to expect moving forward.

Fresh and new ish look. Smelled good. Unfriendly staff. Uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Charged another $100 fee for “damages” Elevator was questionable. Wouldn’t stay again. Not for that price!

The hotel was nice, and the staff was friendly. Kathy at the front desk was especially nice, sweet and helpful. The breakfast was okay. The pull out bed mattress IS NOT IT! All we felt were Springs. The complimentary toiletries barely came out of the dispenser. They came into our room to collect towels and give us new ones, even though the sleeping later sign was on the door. They did not have a do not disturb sign. There were three of us, and they knew it but only gave us two replacement sets. I would stay again if there wevwere only two Travelers.

Multiple stays at this property, love it and will be our Charlotte hotel on future trips!
