DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chattanooga Downtown

Beds were fine- not super comfortable but not terrible. However my son had a comforter that was so noisy I thought they had forgotten to take the plastic off a new mattress. It sounds odd but it was so noisy anytime he moved. It kept him up as well as me. If we had been thinking clearly I would have just had him ditch it but he also didn't have an alternative. My biggest issue was not being able to reach the front desk. I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes, then called back and the same thing happened. Eventually I just went down. I know sometimes things happen but don't tell me to hold if you aren't coming back!

We liked the location. The hotel was doing some remodeling but did well to limit disruption of guest spaces.

The hotel room was really small but very clean. The parking at the hotel was $25/day with limited spaces at it looks as if the hotel was renovating. The parking lot was trashy with people walking around drinking. We don’t feel safe. The elevator floors were cardboard as well I guess due to construction. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but decided to only stay one night.

The room was well appointed and clean. Comfortable beds. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Other staff did not speak. I also think there should be better lighting in the hallways. The pool is slightly small and in the shade. However, this is a downtown hotel. I would come back for another weekend stay.

Location wasn't too bad, room was ok, bed was just ok as well. $25 to park it should be included in the price of the room. and then $18.00 for a continental breakfast that wasn't anything to wright home about.

Exceptional

There were large containers taken up lots of spots and in front of the charging spots as well. It made it very difficult to navigate around the parking lot. The bed was comfortable unfortunately the food was not very good.

There was limited parking in the designated parking area because of construction containers were in the majority of the spots. This was unsatisfactory especially being charged $25 a day for the inconvenience. Other than the parking issue it was a nice place to stay overall.

The restaurant was not really open and comfortable like a regular restaurant. Rooms very clean, staff excellent
