Parking was a challenge because there is construction going on at this location
-
The room was dated but it was clean.
-
room was clean but a little outdated, the bathtub and the closet were scuffed and showed their wear and tear. the beds were comfortable and staff pleasant. it was a good stay for one night.
-
It was a great place now family environment
-
Under construction, pool area was small
-
It was under renovation but they did a great job keeping it contained

Considering the property was under renovation I felt everything was excellent from cleanliness to ease of check-in and check-out. Our only issue was the delay in the elevators on a particularly busy night and we couldn't find the stairs to take them instead. We opted to buy an ice cream from the lobby and waited on a plush seat which was pleasant. There was one elevator that had issues every now and then that caused a small delay and/or backup at times. It could've been related to all the renovations. It wont keep us from staying again.

The only downfall was limited parking due to renovations.

Hotel was under construction.

The property was under very loud construction and we weren't notified of that. We couldn't hear the noise in our room, just in the lobby, but it made the access to the elevators difficult. There was always a huge line because we were sharing the elevator with construction workers and a busy hotel on 4th of July. The person who checked us in was very unhelpful. We were there an hour before check in and we couldn't check in yet and she didn't offer to keep our luggage, so we had to lug it back to the car and walk around and grab a snack. Their on-site restaurant didn't open until 5, which I thought was odd for a Saturday and 4th of July. I did like the ambient lighting in our room. Unfortunately, the tub needs to be resurfaced, the sink was stopped up, and the coffee make didn't work. Also, they charge $25 to park in their lot. Save yourself $25, there is plenty of street parking. They don't charge on major holidays or Sundays. On charged days, it's way cheaper than $25 per day.

Ongoing construction at the hotel restaurant and bar. Lots of noise, dirty hallways. AC units in rooms need to be upgraded.

The place is under construction big time and they don't tell you that when you book. You still have to pay for parking even though the construction cargo is taking up 75% of the lot. Tons of construction indoors too. They only give you 2 bath towels even if you have more than 2 people checked in. We didn't want maid service so we turned them away but they came back a couple hours later when we were gone and they took all our towels, left the toilet soaking wet, and turned our AC completely off. it was hot when we got back and we left personal items and cash out in the open thinking they would be kept private in our room. Front desk girl was ornery too. It was pretty clean but the rooms are small and it's a few blocks from downtown.

My only minor complaint was the construction going on at the hotel during our stay. Fourth of July weekend was really busy regardless, but it looks like the renovations they were doing were going to be really nice. The room was already pretty updated. Only thing I could see that was outdated would be the AC unit, but it was controlled by the normal thermostat anyways. Overall, very happy with the room, the cleanliness and the accommodations inside the room. It was a really easy walk to the aquarium, the discovery children’s museum and pretty much anywhere we wanted to go on our short night trip. Would definitely recommend especially for families as we had our three young kids with us.

We had to be switched to 3 rooms before finding a clean functional room. Is was a terrible experience to start our vacation. Breakfast serving staff amazing. Dirty water glass and gravy turned sour. It was terrible. Front desk person accommodating.

Clean room, great staff, good amenities and great location!
-
Great stay. Perfect location
-
The staff was excellent and the Hotel is located within most of the popular restaurants and entertainment in the downtown area. The Hotel is being renovated right now, but is expected to be completed by August. Even with the construction going on now the Hotel was still very clean and accommodating.
-
No hair dryer in the room
-
Although rooms were remodeled they are way to small, not enough towels , couldnt bring blockout screen down due to new furniture installed next to it and we found a white tiny pouch filled with white powder stuck to ceiling . And not enough parking… will never stay here again

Recently remolded. Very nice design.
