Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chattanooga

Hotel is located in easily accessible area from highway, with few restaurants around at walkable distance. Free breakfast was great, room was clean and staff was very helpful especially breakfast area manager. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

Good breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc); clean and quiet stay. Good stopover hotel for travelers

Excellent for over night stay on I75. Very friendly people at the breakfast buffet. Options are good for the price.

Room clean but needs refreshing

Easily accessible room. Checking in was a breeze.

The pool was nice and had beach balls for the kids to play with. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and plentiful. Here’s what I didn’t like: As soon as we arrived the entire outside and the entire hallway of our floor reeked of marijuana. Someone else’s hair was stuck to our shower wall which made me doubt the cleanliness of the whole room. The door frame was coming off the wall in the bathroom as well and there were no tissues. The man who was in charge of breakfast started removing the food before breakfast time was over even though multiple people were still in line for food. My bed was extremely uncomfortable and made it hard to sleep well. Even though this seemed like a decent area with lots of hotels, restaurants, and shopping nearby, we were approached by homeless people asking for our leftovers in the parking lot (plus the lingering smell of drugs around the property). I won’t stay here or in this area again. Definitely not what I expected from a Marriott property.

Clean, comfortable bed, great service. It was a delight and redeemed our prior stay in Chattanooga, TN.

We have stayed at many Fairfield Inns. We will not be staying at this one ever again. There was a towel shoved up underneath the toilet to soak up a leaky toilet. There was not a do not disturb sign. The bathtub would not hold water. The sheets were too small for a king sized bed. No microwave in the rooms.
