Check-in was like being at an airport with a long vine that snaked around and looked to be about an hour wait. I’ve never seen this at a hotel before. Self check it is an option so plan there to stand with all of your bags in everyone’s way digging through documentation to correctly put in random slots in the machine. I upgraded the room for the Jacuzzi that had to be at least 40 years old and my husband refused to use. All he did was warn me about how slippery the floor was in the tub. The first room they gave me was a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke so back downstairs to the desk to be reassigned to another old depressing room that had a Jacuzzi I would never use anyway. One of the poorest hotel experiences I have ever had in my life.

Valet and the carts as I am handicapped. I think the cost of scooters is a little pricey. It said $60 online, then I was told $65. I have to get one, as I couldn't get around without it.

The main public-facing part of the property was amazing especially along the stream in the middle. All staff were very polite and helpful. The room we received was fine…a bit disappointing to see the wall paper and faux crown molding separated from the walls in the hallway of our room along with dirty floors. Overall a fun and pleasant experience for the middle of the week…I’m sure things get a lot busier over the weekends or when there are shows.
