Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Louis-Chesterfield

I had to wait a while in the lobby when I arrived at the front desk. I eventually had to call the hotel to get someone to come to the desk. The room we received had hairs on the bed. Including what looked like a beard hair. The cupboards were dirty, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. One cupboards still had bags and a box someone had left. The window on the outside was covered in a spiderweb with spiders crawling around. There was a dead spider hanging inside the window. I went down to the lobby, called the front desk again and received a different room. These beds had hairs on them as well but we just wanted to get to sleep. Had to go back down to ask for bedding for the sofa bed though. This is the first time I have not left a tip for housekeeping,and I travel every year. This is not what I expect from a Hilton hotel.

I loved this room, it was just like staying in a small apt. The staff was terrific and the breakfast was excellent, too. If I travel back to St. Louis, this is definitely where I'll stay!

Dilapidated, dated and run down. And we stayed 3 days and they never cleaned our room. We complained so many times and they just said it was a scheduling mistake. We will Never again stay here. Disappointed at the Hilton name

Staff was phenomenal. We went to our room after we returned from a cardinals game to find our AC unit died. Staff switched us to a nice cool room quickly!

Besides being double charged, which the staff fixed immediately, I really enjoyed my stay. The amenities are great, the area has many leisure things very close, and the place was quite nice.

Room was pleasant and very clean, excellent amenities for the price. Breakfast was also great for this price point, good selection and my husband loved that on the day we were there they had a breakfast taco/burrito bar in addition to the usual Continental type options. We would absolutely stay here again.

House keeping and front desk was very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t great. A few of the TV’s had issues so we didn’t have a TV during our stay.

Stay was good, things were CLEAN! Breakfast was okay, lots of options. Pool area was nice. Could not get tv in room without signing up for the rewards program. Easy location for getting around St. Louis.

Was more than I needed for an overnight stay. Very nice place.

The breakfast was good. Please make sure their is always someone available for maintaining the rooms after hours. I had over 50 ants in the kitchen drawer; bugs in the window and also after a worker came to spray the room and not the drawer; roaches start coming out. I have videos and showed the Rep at the desk.

Our stay was quiet stay we love this property staff is helpful and nice rooms very clean

When we arrived to check in all Hilton properties including some international hotels had a significant computer glitch which prevented check-in. It was down for hours. After about an hour waiting the check in staff gave us a room with instructions to lock the door just in case another guest used the Hiltons app to check in and got the same room they gave us. Bottom line Hilton doesn’t have a plan B when their check in system goes down. We enjoy Homewood Suites and will use them again as we travel the US this summer.
