Room layout was good. Room had ants, Room smelled like old cigarettes covered up with bad deodorizer. Bathrooms smelt like urine. Wore my shoes entire time cause carpet was gross and needed replaced . Couch had a couch cover over it because it was so stained and wore out. I do not recommend staying here.

Place was a flop house. We got to the room which stunk, the sofa couch smelled worse to the point they did not even want to pull it out. We ended up immediately leaving, and had to book a different hotel. Would not recommend to anyone. Had to fight to get my money back on the additional two nights I had booked, they would not refund me the money for the one night since we had to check in to find the horrible conditions. Would not recommend this place to anyone

The place was just what I was needing pool was nice. Friendly staff. Rooms was clean and nice

The only reason(s) im not leaving a 5 star review is because the walls & windows are super thin that you can easily hear the birds & the cars & if youre even 2 buildings from the pool, you can hear all the excitement from everyone. Im a light sleeper, so that may not be anyone else's concern. The buildings were dated but still clean & overall exceeded expectations.

Great for families, cool rooms. More like an apartment than a hotel.
-
Great for families. Good breakfast and pool.

This was the third time we stayed at the Sonesta. We enjoy staying there because it’s a convenient location and they have full kitchens for cooking.
-
Love the location and size of the room!! Everything was great!
-

I've stayed there many times and find the accommodations perfect. The use of a full kitchen is great. I will continue to stay there when I visit the St Louis area.

I loved how spacious the hotel room was. It was perfect for our family. They had a full kitchen which was very nice. The couch was broken upon arrival so we were not able to sit on it. The pool was also dirty.

Nothing, because I booked this room in March and when I arrived for my stay in June, first they couldn't find me, when they looked on the other computer they found me; however they stated in shown I had canceled???? Oddly when I shown them my reservation it was still active. Sad part another couple and children had came in and guess what... exact thing happened to them, and they were just like that is a you problem. No compassion. Everything I guess since I didn't get to stay.

Our room was large and clean with a kitchenette. It had a strong food odor and there were dishes left in the dishwasher. Breakfast was barely edible.

The room advertised (King suite) was NOT a King suite. The walls were covered in dirt, the couch was filthy, the kitchen and bathroom lights did not work. The room was so disgusting that we checked out immediately. Per their policy, we were expecting to only pay for one night but they charged us for both. We have attempted to contact the property manage but she will not return emails or phone calls. It became obvious that this hotel is being used as a flop house for people looking for extended stays. Do NOT book a room here. Your room will be nasty and they will do nothing to fix the problem.
-
That it had a pool. Room was out of every soap/conditioner/lotion, had to go to front desk to get more. TV remote did not work, went to front desk, they gave me another remote to try, did not work. Door did not latch very easily and looked janky. No housekeeping, fir 3days

The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was more generous than most and offered plenty of options. We would stay here again.

I wish the description was a little more clear or there was a room layout in the listing. Wasn’t a problem at all but not quite what we were expecting. Room was clean enough but not spotless, and carpet and furniture showed some wear and tear.

I liked the room. The couch/bed is very uncomfortable for watching TV. I had to use one of the pillows to create a comfortable spot. The cleaning product used to clean the tile floors created a very sticky feel for my feet. But I do like that the TV is in front of the couch. They did not provide an extra blanket in the room. Liked that they provided towels at the pool. They had pancakes at breakfast but I am a waffle fan. My husband liked that they had turkey bacon at breakfast as an alternative to hoof meats. We will go back but can tweak the negatives for a better stay. My key cards kept failing and was additional inconvenience to replace them but not a terrible thing. The location is very convenient for our needs. Planning another stay soon
