The property was under construction which meant the elevator was out. They did offer the service elevator with a call to the front desk whenever you want to go up and down but was a pain so we used the stairs. We stayed for 3 nights and no one came to clean our room.

Very small and odd bathrooms

A simple yet enjoyable stay! Conveniently located from nearby eateries, shopping stores, and cafes.

Overall none of this was awful I was just disappointed for the price.

Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean. Room was dated & did not have a mini fridge or microwave. But I chose a more cost effective room also. Elevator was broken all 3 days we were there. Freight elevator was offered. And we used it once to get our luggage up the stairs initially. It is very old. And I’m sure this was inconvenient for staff. Lobby, and room were clean. Restaurant was clean, & had nice staff. And food was good.

Not my first time staying here. Overall, I really love staying here. The staff is great, location is exactly what I’m looking for, and I really appreciate the newly renovated rooms. On my most recent stay (5 nights), the elevator was broken the entire time, which makes it a bit inconvenient trekking up and down 4 flights of stairs with one’s luggage- especially since the stairway is so narrow in this beautiful, old building. Parking is not the most convenient and typically that’s okay too, except for today when I checked out, the hotel couldn’t validate because they were “out of stickers”, I had to pay a full rate in the garage. Would I stay here again? Not likely. I just hope the one elevator is repaired before my next stay.

Great location for Lincoln Park Elevator was not working which was not disclosed when booked. Fortunately our room was on second floor so used stairs instead.

Very poor

The rooms are smaller, but all older Chicago buildings are like that. The elevator was out for our trip but they offered the service elevator. The stairs are just fine if you are able to do them. Great location and room. Would stay again.

The elevator was broken. Mold in the bathrooms!

Staff was very courteous but for $200 a night you can afford to give travelers a free bottle of water!

I didn’t like the bathroom. No privacy for toilet if someone is taking shower or using sink. Also no magnifying mirror. Pillows too flat. Look at above answer

Had a wonderful time staying here for one night. The room was nice and spacious, besides the bathroom which was a little cramped. I was on the top floor and unfortunately the elevator was out so I had to use the stairs but it wasn't bad. If definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel hallways smelled like smoke ..the room was great and clean ..the pub was great ..elevator was broken ..3 stars
