I paid $400! Night and microwave and no refrigerator. I regret .

My chief complaint is there is no fridge or microwave! I could do without the microwave, but it is important to have a fridge. Otherwise, for drinks you make trips to the ice machine (that is only on the main and fourth floors). If you bring back leftovers back from eating out--no place to keep them. There are heated towel racks in the bathroom which I feel are a waste of time to use. It's a nice neighborhood with Trader Joe across the street (don't buy anything that needs refrigerated) and nice places to eat or shop. Nice staff. Very Clean. Please add small refrigerators!

The hotel is under renovation so it's hard for me to be too harsh but it should be shut down while that work is happening.

I always like staying here. just so happens on this trip the elevator was down... and I just had knee surgery.

The air conditioning didn’t work so that was a bummer but overall a good stay

Generally a nice hotel. The elevator was down the whole stay so very inconvenient when carrying bags etc. one great thing about our room was it had 2 bathrooms with one king bed. That was awesome!

We parked in the recommended parking garage which was a short walk away. No in or out privileges, which makes taking in the sights by car expensive. We enjoyed the atmosphere when we walked in and it has great decor and a vintage feel. The elevator was out of service, so we had to use the service elevator to bring up our luggage, accompanied by a front desk employee. The staff was lovely and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. What was disappointing was the size of the room, which was super small, however, we made it work. No refrigerator in the room, so we had to throw out any leftovers brought back from dinner. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom shower was fine. The plug didn’t work in the bathroom and the shelf above the sink stuck out so far, I had trouble washing my face and brushing my teeth. It felt more like a dorm room than a hotel. Expensive for what you get.

Quaint hotel but needs updating. The neighborhood is great. I think we should have been alerted that the elevator was out of service. Several times we here stuck in a “log jam” on the staircase. Rounders was disappointing. Very vanilla and staff was unfriendly.

The hotel is located in a pleasant area, with several restaurants and shops nearby. It's not very far to the lake either. The gym is quite well-equipped. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of order every four days during my stay, and only the freight elevator was available. With only four floors, though, it wasn't a big deal. Some of the wallpaper in my room had already started to peel, and the carpet wasn’t the cleanest either. The rooms could use some renovation and updating in some places. The front deskl were unable to issue an invoice in the company's name because like I need to get the money from the company back. The said it is because I booked through a booking portal, and the staff were unable to process it. No further effort was made to help me; instead, they chose to focus on other matters and simply left me to deal with my problem on my own. Not a good experience with them and in other Hotels I do not have had this issue while booking to a third party portal. It can sometimes get very noisy in the room from the street, and the air conditioner is also extremely loud, so anyone who has trouble sleeping won't get much rest.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life due to two crew members, though the rest of the staff, especially the ladies and maintenance team, were amazing. I eventually complained to Hilton because I couldn't take it anymore. Those two staff members made me feel isolated, and I don't understand why. I was simply requesting what I paid for. I truly wish the best for this hotel, but those two male crew members need to learn from this. Other than that, the team was great, and I appreciate that Hilton called me back to apologize.

Enjoyed the location and ease of parking. Property very dated but they are actively refurbishing. Would definitely stay again to be close to Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville.

The lobby is welcoming and lovely, and the restaurant is a nice touch. However, when we checked in in August 2026, the regular elevators were out, and we had to take a pretty rough freight elevator. Our bathroom was a bit dirty and really hot

Great location near restaurants, taverns, Wrigley Field, etc. Some challenges were that the guest elevator was out of service and apparently for quite some time. Climbing stairs is ok but not for a hotel claiming 4 stars. The television in the room requires attendance at MIT apparently as we nor anyone on staff knew how to get it to function after several attempts of QR code, selecting favorite media on your phone and other hoops. No elevator and no TV but Ihave to say that the front desk staff were very ice. You can likely do better elsewhere.

This is a good location in proximity to everything in the Lakewood/Boystown Neighborhoods. It was not a huge inconvenience to not have a working elevator but make sure you are not placed in a room right next to the stairwell as the squeaking and slamming door throughout the night did not lend to a very restful stay.

The staff warned me up front that the elevator was out of service due to construction (understandable) and that I’d have to use the service elevator. My room was right next to the service elevator, and at all hours of the night I heard loud banging and thumping from the thing. As it stands, the rooms are grimy, the building is in tatters, and the only thing it’s got going for it is the friendly staff. I cannot recommend anybody stay here.

I rented a room for my 80 yr old father and his partner. I live in a 3rd story walkup condo so we booked the Versey to avoid the stairs. Unfortunately the main elevator was not working, so my family members had to get someone to take them up and down to their room in the freight elevator. $300+ per night seemed very very expensive for how small and antiquated the rooms are. The room interior was dated as was the hallway carpeting and designs. Very worn especially for the price.

We were charged $590 to stay for less than 24 hours at this hotel and had to hike up 4 flights of stairs with all of our stuff because they don’t have a functional elevator. The place doesn’t have parking available either and the ceilings are stained and literally falling apart. The room only came with 2 free water bottles and nothing else. The bathroom was dirty and the towels were stained.
