Good

Nice hotel and location was convenient for what I was in Chicago for however the room keys demagnetized every day. Was told it happens occasionally if kept near phones. Made a point to keep separate and still wouldn’t work when return to room daily

So beautiful and anticipated our needs for our stay. The in room snacks and wine are a great touch. Our concierge Eric was very helpful and knowledgeable got us a cab when we needed a quick lift. We missed the cookie hour :)

Very kept up and clean old hotel with a very nice staff within walking distance to lots of things. We would definitely stay there again.

The access to the gym next door was great and the location is perfect that we could walk to everything we needed to do.

Friendly staff. No breakfast but water and coffee in the reception but they do have cookies in the evening. Hotel is quite dated especially the carpet but the room was clean although the room was a bit musty smelling till the AC was turned on. A bit pricey due to Market Days but overall decent stay in a great neighborhood.

Location of price cannot be beat. Rooms are a little dated, but the staff was super friendly.

Great location! Walked to the beach and so many great restaurants close by.

Overall nice stay. Nothing remarkable but a little pricy for stay and small room, but it worked for what I needed. Room was by elevator and little noisy.

What a jam of a place near Lincoln Park. The gal behind the desk who worked every single day I was there couldn’t have been more helpful. It really was a lovely day.

Nice,friendly and VERY helpful staff. Very convenient for us to go to Wrigley field for games,we came from Texas Will return hopefully next year for more games and use this place again Thank you!!

Close to lots of things

The staff were very friendly and the location is good. The lobby always had water. Room was spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Our king room smelled like a hockey locker room - it was terrible. The shower curtain smelled musty. There was a hole in the robe hanging in the closet. And the teabags they provided were from Kroger. We paid $430 for all that and a ground floor view of a dirty back alley. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but the smell never improved enough to sleep well. The very sweet attendant at the desk wanted to move us, but did not have the ability to do so on the computer. I have a feeling we were not the first people to have the issue with that room. In spite of kindly talking to the staff about it, no manager bothered to followed up with us at all either.

Cozy and close to everything

This is a great boutique hotel on the north side. Small but well-appointed rooms. Fresh cookies in the lobby every afternoon, Lovely neighborhood: Many restaurants and cafés nearby. You can walk to the lake. About a 30 minute walk to Wrigley Field. Note that the nearby parking lot is quite expensive, especially during baseball season, and street parking is not really feasible over a number of days.
