Marriott Chicago O'Hare

They were able to let us check in a few hours early which was a huge help to a chaotic few days. Staff all very friendly. Facility was clean. Shower water was warm. Water pressure was great. The only bad part was the toilet had to be flushed twice if any toilet paper is used (but the tank refills quickly). You can't hear a single plane when inside the building, despite being right by the airport.

Bathroom sink, toilet, and shower had hair from previous people. Room is hyped way too much, small for a group of 4 with two beds. Bathroom is beyond small and hardly has room to get ready. I wouldn’t exactly call it a “nice” hotel room. Also I find it ridiculous how breakfast is $28 per person for mediocre breakfast. have been to other hotels that give more for free. Glasses on the table were also not very clean and had marks on them. Even people around me noticed as well. Parking is also $30 for overnight parking. I thought I was sure I had breakfast and parking included but I guess not, definitely keeping an eye on that next time. Other than that the staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. And a nice benefit is having the CTA train station right next to the hotel. I also don’t recommend though if you’re traveling from this hotel to downtown Chicago, turns 40 minutes to an hour and half or more with traffic. So try getting a hotel closer to Chicago sooner than later unless you don’t mind taking the train station.

Wonderful stay!

The pool lived up to the hype and the kids had a blast! The staff went above and beyond to help us feel at home and get settled in.

Far from major attractions but safe and affordable

The room and staff was absolutely amazing! I think the only thing that I didn’t like about the hotel was charging $38 a night to park.

The trip was a 10/10 stay for us. The front desk staff was incredible from the moment we walked in. Lovely was who helped us and she made everything so easy and quick. She helped get us checked in early, helped with parking, and even breakfast! The pool is heated to the perfect temperature. The restaurant staff were polite, quick, and on it! Would definitely recommend highly and would stay again. Thank you for a relaxing, clean, and compassionate stay!

The big pool was one of the main reasons we stayed here . It connects with the outside. The gym is also large with a good amount of equipment. The lobby was impressive with a nice bar. The parking is expensive overnight but that's pretty common in Chicago. The fridge does not get very cold so if you have medication/leftovers that might be a problem. Rooms were clean and comfortable however.

Convenient to the airport I like that they offer shuttle and it’s so close to the train station

The restaurant staff!

The reason for 3 stars is for housekeeping. The first day we returned to our room to find beds made but the room unvacuumed, towels were not resupplied, neither was the coffee packets. Same for the 2nd day, but the room was vacuumed. Again we had to request coffee packets, clean glasses, TP and towels. Short staffed or inexperienced housecleaning. Also the ice machine was broken.

Went back room still not ready! They finally said room was ready. The attendant asked if I wanted a balcony room or on ground level! I answered ground floor poolside. Got to room opened blinds, windows had a no see through film on window. Went to exit door and no pool, just a white rock road! Talked with attendant and he said sorry layout of rooms says it’s poolside!!! Told him I was very disappointed. Room was not vacuumed, seeds on floor. Also seen two bugs in bathroom. Pool was nice, but child proof gate broken not working. Breakfast over priced, but good choice of food. Overall just a bad experience all excited about poolside room the only reason I booked it and ended up with the opposite and disappointing for the money!
