SpringHill Suites Chicago O'Hare by Marriott

When we arrived back to the hotel, they informed my son and I that the hotel was overbooked. They said to us that they are sending us to another hotel with similar accommodations. Thus, the second hotel was a dud, the restaurant was awful and was not editable. We came back to this hotel and the manager in duty gave us a nice quiet suite. The breakfast was ok and it was enough to hold us over.

This was my bad experience, also they are not interested for third party booking. So request Expedia to remove this from list.

Ask for Bobby the supervisor ask about parking

Breakfast was nice but room was super dirty, floor was filthy. Not clean at all. Thank god I had my own sheets to cover things

Everything was great until check in. We were first put in to a room type that we DID NOT reserve. We had reserved a accessible room with step in shower. Then after taking our luggage up to the wrong room type we had to bring it back down. Then were told that our room wasn't ready yet. Ok tell me that the first time. After sitting in lobby until 530 pm we we told our room was ready. Have stayed here several in the past. Have reservations here for end of Aug , tried to cancel but non refundable. Last dollar of mine you are getting. Don't forget the $32.99 parking fee for parking on THEIR lot that you're not told about until check in.

This hotel was the perfect one to stay at for our long overnight layover. The shuttle service was prompt and very friendly even at 4:00 in the morning when our flight finally landed. When I spoke with the front desk to let them know our flight was delayed, they were very kind and accommodating and gave us a late check-out so we could sleep longer. They were out of a double room which we had booked so they upgraded us to two king suites free of charge. We slept through breakfast, but there is a Dunkin Donuts and a Hooters restaurant a short walk from the hotel.

Nice hotel in this price range, shuttle service is a huge plus, very nice breakfast.

Our room was great, except the bathroom was too small, the tub had chips in the surface, the bottom was too narrow for standing to take a shower, and there was mold on the ceiling above the tub.

Great stay

It is over $30 per day to park your car here while staying. Our keys stopped working after the first night and we had to go back down and get new ones. One of our rooms smelled of old smoke. The breakfast was okay, not great. We had two rooms on the 5 floor facing the airport, one was a corner room, which was noisy next to the train.

Always a pleasure staying.. close to transportation and airport shuttle service. Our flight was 10 hours delayed and the staff was very accommodating in allowing us to sleep in longer ..

I was very surprised that the room was $320. Considering it was a Marriott, I was willing to pay the price for a nice comfortable hotel. I was thankful for the shuttle ride. We arrived and the staff was nice. Once on the room we were appalled. The smell was like a strong musty scent. So bad I couldn’t stay in there 5 minutes. The room was very outdated. Carpet was old, thermostat looked like it was 60 years old, the lighting in the room was minimal. It felt like a cheap motel. We immediately requested another room. It had all the same problems except the smell was less pungent. We only stayed one night, thankful to be safe from the tornado warning. Breakfast the following morning was good. Lots of options. SpringHill definitely needs to invest money into upgrading their hotel. I expect so much more from a Marriott.

there is no hot tub, the breakfast was good, but change up the potatoes, the juice in the lobby is very nice smell when you walk in is very nice the lady at the front desk I wish I would remember her name. She was there every evening that we stayed. She was a doll. I would stay again.

I loved how welcoming everyone was and the breakfast was fantastic!! Definitely the best place I’ve stayed at!!
