SpringHill Suites Chicago O'Hare by Marriott

The airport shuttle didn’t have enough space for all our luggage. I let the front desk know the night before that we had lots of luggage and they didn’t say anything. The shuttle driver was openly annoyed with us and voiced his frustration. I did give him a nice tip anyways for handling the luggage. He said next time you have to tell us ahead of time. Well I did but it wasn’t communicated. We also were given a room on the same floor as a very loud wedding reception. It was hard for us to sleep and get up for our early flight.

The breakfast was awesome!!! I liked the cleanliness of the property. However, I didn’t like paying for parking as a guest staying at the hotel.

Overall okay but didn't realize there is a $33/day parking charge. Also ask if there is a wedding or event with music as we could here it on the 4th floor until 11:PM+ - bummer!

Convenient location close to airport. Veery helpful and friendly staff.

Clean and nice. Check in was at 4, we got there 15 min early and were told it would be 20 min. Then we proceeded to sit in the lobby for an hour. Every person who came after us got their room before us as we sat there. We had to start getting ready in the lobby for an event we had to leave our hotel by 5 to get to. At 4:50, staff noticed we were doing our hair and makeup and finally let us up. Extremely frustrating and set our entire night behind.

Our stay was very fitting for a family of four. It was kid friendly and the breakfast buffet was superb!!

The staff was amazing and accommodating! Rooms were clean and spacious I cant wait to go back.

Staff

The facility needs some updating (it certainly has seen its fair share of travelers), but it’s clean. Any issue found was addressed instantly. The breakfast was good. The most important feature was the room environment for sleeping: - super cool - black dark - quiet Slept better than I have in years. I normally stay at Hampton Inns, but now- especially for Chicago- this is on my “must stay” list.

Staff was great. Cleaners worked hard with what they had. Looks like great staff, need to update and upgrade the facility and give the staff a raise. Facility was outdated. Breakfast was lack luster

Loved my stay. I do wish they had better shower curtains and I prefer the split ac units . Overall I would stay again.

This hotel has wonderful staff. They were all helpful!!! Breakfast was varied and delicious. I would recommend this hotel for families and for a place to stay not too far from the airport. It would not be convenient for a layover, but worked for us to see a soccer game downtown.

the staff was super nice and helpful. we were able to check in hours early.. and they held our bags when we had a later flight so we can continue to explore the city the only thing I didn't like was that my room was constantly damp.

The staff was very nice, parking was easy, and our room was great.

Bed was comfortable. Airport shuttle. All good.

Smelled of midew dirty carpet in room and hallways. Furniture and bed looked uncleaned. This used to be a classy place to stay
