Nice place, but a little tired. Got put in a room that had an outdoor area for guests right outside on all sides and the front desk was not particularly helpful.
-
Very nice hotel. Spacious rooms. Bar and restaurant close early.
-
I personally will not be staying at this property again. It is mediocre.
-
Perfect location and overall an excellent experience!

Several things in the room were broken or missing, including the bathroom door. Asked for a microwave and it was an hour and a half wait. Key card to the room stopped working at 11:30 when our check out was 12:00. terrible stay and strongly considering not booking here again.

-
Not a full service hotel. No concierge. The only restaurant was closed for lunch and all afternoon. No room service.

The hotel is old, and it certainly does not have any sound proof qualities. We could hear every person walking by our room, the sirens downtown were very very loud and were disturbing to our sleep, and lastly, they started doing some kind of maintenance above us with drills at 6am, waking us up abruptly. The area/location was great for the downtown area though and all staff members were very friendly.

The space was nice. It was in a beautiful location. It was dog friendly without having to pay an outrageous pet price. Valet parking was $89 but they were so nice and there are in/out privileges which is rare in Chicago, on Michigan Avenue. The on-site restaurant was good and very affordable, so much so that a large cheeseburger, fry, mac&cheese, an entire pizza & beverages were $60. The spa robe in our suite was softer than others at other resorts. Overall, I would recommend

We have stayed at this property many times. Great location to Michigan Ave, Navy Pier, Restaurants, Red Line for Cub games, river tours, everything. Beautiful property. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

I could talk about the convenience of the location, having a good restaurant and bar in the hotel, and views from our room. But what I noticed most (and my husband agrees) is the warm and professional staff—from reception, to restaurant staff, to every housekeeping person we interacted with. This hotel is clearly well managed and staff are hired and/or trained for genuine hospitality. I highly recommend the Chicago Michigan Avenue Omni to others.

We love this hotel for our Chicago visits. The service is great—really helpful and friendly staff. I requested late check out last minute and they accommodated us with no problem. All the staff are really kind. The location is phenomenal; it’s basically right on Michigan Avenue. For Harry Potter fans, the Chicago Harry Potter store is right outside the doors of the Omni on Michigan. Very walkable to the river and other adventures. The hotel is well maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and great for families. All the rooms are suites with large bathrooms and a separate king bedroom and fold out couch/TV room. There are French doors that separate the two spaces. The beds are very comfortable, too. Free water bottles are provided in the rooms. There’s also a mini fridge and free WiFi included.

The hotel was amazing and the staff was great!! Plan to revisit this hotel when I return to Chicago!
