The staff was extremely friendly

Property is in strong need of a remodel and upgrade. Carpet in the elevator is filthy. Carpet in hallways dirty wore out. very disappointing.

Breakfast was just so so.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights and although the hotel room was clean, the hotel itself is pretty old. The washroom was tiny, could barely open the door inside and have enough room to stand at the same time. The air conditioning stopped working one evening but they sent their engineering staff right away who restarted and fixed it. So we really appreciated that. Good breakfast options and space in the breakfast area. Fitness room is very old and could use a major upgrade. Overall it was an okay stay, They Could really upgrade the rooms and the washrooms for a great overall experience.

Rooms were nice, although one of our rooms was much larger than the other - not a big deal, just what it was. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great - not an enormous buffet, but we were able to find enough to eat and be satisfied.

Everything was good, the breakfast was excellent and location was central and withing walking distance like Navy Pier and we were right around the corner from Harry Potter Store! There was also an in-and-out garage two blocks away so we could come and go as needed for parking. It is right by a hospital so sometimes the ambulance noise was rough. We also got a room (3120) that was behind the elevators and was disruptive and the elevators took forever to get up and down during peak traffic times.

Fridge was not working. Never could get through to the front desk on the phone.

The hotel and the room were very nice. It was right across from the hospital which was were my husband was at. I had a king size bed and it was quite spacious. The amenities in the room were okay but the bathroom had everything from the shampoo, bath wash and hair dryer to help so that you don't have to bring those for your visit. They also will supply you any bathroom amenities if you forget anything. The only thing that I didn't particular care for was that they only had a refrigerator but no microwave and the ice machine didn't work on my floor so I was forced to use one on the opposite elevator for any time that I wanted ice. Other than that I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

It would have been nice to have more updated elevators, and for the breakfast to be with real plates, cups, and utensils. But otherwise, we really enjoyed the centralized location and comfortable suite.

This is a budget friendly place in a great downtown area! You are truly getting a great deal. Lots of food options, shopping, and close to sights. The front desk is helpful and kind. When I return to Chicago, I can only stay here!
