A couple things to improve: The AC/thermostat in my room wasn’t reliable. Adjusting it didn’t change the temp unless the unit itself turned on with noticeable noise and cooling. Also, there was no toothpaste provided, and when I asked for an extra blanket, I was told they were out of stock. With these small fixes, this would easily be a 5-star stay.

Hotel is very poorly maintained and the beds were terribly uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators slow. Ended up walking the stairs 21 flights after waiting for more than 15 minutes. Not a dirty place but not sure I would return.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, quiet.

The room was very clean and very comfortable beds. Good breakfast spread and overall clean. Location was perfect. Would stay again. The only thing that was a disappointment was they advertise rooftop pool but according to other guests it hasn't worked in 2 years. It's located next to the rooftop fitness center and in bad rainy weather the water leaks into the fitness area. This needs to be taken off the website. I really wanted to use the pool. Everything else was good. Microwaves in the room would be nice since we pay a lot of money to stay here.

Our room had numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. We found spiders in the room, the windows were so filthy that we could barely enjoy the downtown view, the television stopped working and had to be replaced by maintenance, the thermostat fell off the wall, and the carpet was noticeably dirty. In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom was very low. When I requested to be moved to another room, my request was denied, which only added to my frustration. I paid more than $900 for a three-night stay, and the condition of the property did not come close to meeting the standards I have come to expect from Hilton. The fitness center was outdated, dirty, and had filthy windows. The pool area was not operational and appeared neglected. It is disappointing that this property is advertised as a beautiful hotel when, in reality, it falls far short of that description. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

I attempted to resolve these issues directly with the property. A front desk representative provided an email address and stated he would leave my bill open for management review. I followed up by email after my stay but did not receive any response.

The room was spacious and clean and the hotel was in a great location.

Was expecting pool but it’s in process of being removed. Staff nice and were ok but brkfst was absolutely terrible. All items not cooked enough (ie potatoes, sausage etc)

What ruined the experience was the gentleman, whose first name begins with "D" (I'll refrain from outing him publicly), who managed the dining area. He acted very friendly for most of our breakfast visits, especially when he shared his QR code seeking a tip (BTW, pal, we took it with us to tip you when we got home). But when my wife had problems with one of the devices--waffle maker?--instead of helping, his response was a curt, "READ. THE. SIGN." Might be that sign was a bit hard to read. Glad we postponed tipping. Anyway, even if I wanted to return to this hotel, there is no way my wife would approve.

The staff is so helpful and kind. From the front desk assistants to the housekeepers and concierge staff, everybody played a role in making sure we were so comfortable. When we had to leave our bags after checking out, so we could explore the city before leaving for the airport, they kindly held onto our bags for us. The only problem was the length of time with the elevators, which they can’t control for, so factor that long wait time into your travel time/leaving the hotel. You may also want to bring your other entertainment options, cause the tv only has cable. Breakfast was decent too.

Hotel is okay. Could use an update. Breakfast was fine. Pool was “ under renovations”. That should have been included in the hotel description. It’s one of the reasons I booked hotel.

the lobby was in need of upgrades and the carpet seemed to be unkept. the staff at check in was great, late night staff when trying to buy water ignored us for several minutes. the housekeeping ladies were very nice. at check out 9:45 AM it literally took 30 minutes to get on the elevator to get down to lobby, we would have taken the stairs but we had luggage and we were on the 28th floor. our room was nice and clean and serviced regularly. Easy check in. property was quint and inviting. Parking next door!

My bathroom faucet only had a trickle for the cold water, the tub faucet barely worked. The carpet in all the halls were worn pretty bad. Was supposed to have a pool, but pool was empty and gross looking. My kids were very disappointed. Definitely will not be back.

Hotel was just okay. Way overpriced for being a 2-3 star though. Shower was average, no vent in bathroom so steam was an issue. Night staff was useless. Valet parking was an absolute nightmare. In/out took an enormous amount of time to drop off and pick up vehicle. This was such a waste of precious time. There are much better alternatives than this one.

- Pool was under renovations, couldn’t enjoy the pool during the hot days (July heat). - Breakfast was very basic, nothing special. Was expecting something good when I saw the review earlier mentioning breakfast is amazing.

We stayed at this hotel for one night with 4 people for a concert. We checked in right at 4, and we stayed on the 15th floor. When we got to our room, it was very hot. We turned on the AC right away and left for the concert within an hour. We didn't get back to the room until about 12:30 am. When we got back to our room, it was almost hotter than before. The AC unit didn't work at all. Luckily, a maintenance guy came to our room and helped us, but the AC never turned on, and he could only bring us a fan. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, except if you plan to stay here during the summer. Also, we checked out on a Monday morning and waited over 30 minutes for an elevator, so we ended up walking down the stairs instead. This hotel is nice, but there are plenty better in Chicago.
