Out air conditioner did not work in half the room on a very hot weekend. The staff were kind but it was not an unusual issue as many others reported the same. No pool and no warning about it. The entire hotel was hot throughout the weekend.

The location was perfect

This hotel was soooooooo nice and comfortable! The staff was soooo nice and accommodating! 10s across the board. Perfect for me, my 80 year old mom and my young son. We had so much fun and we definitely will stay there again when in Chicago.

Pretty spacious room with a good view of downtown. Sofa bed mattress is on the flatter end (didn’t mind but wouldn’t recommend for people with back concerns). The pool and lookout deck were closed when we visited, but some views could be seen from the fitness room. Breakfast pretty standard. Not sure if this is typical for other hotels in the area but our AC would turn off too sporadically which was frustrating given the Chicago heat (and traveling with a kid and a pet). Valet parking only. But the really great location mostly makes up for it: you’re in the shopping district and everything is walkable, food options, and easy to find CTA stops everywhere. 15 min to the riverwalk, 20ish to millennium park if you plan on hitting the main tourist spots. Some improvements might be adding more luggage carts for people to use to move in and out to the valet pickup (they only had one working cart).

This hotel served its purpose for our trip. We had beds to sleep in and breakfast to eat. However, they were having HVAC issues (poor A/C) and were too fully booked to move us to another room. They kept offering to send the engineer up, but it never made a difference. After four days of calling, I finally asked for a fan, and they brought one to the room. It made the room bearable. We also had issues with the Mattress being too hard, even though I typically like a firm mattress. Members of our party had another room, and they had what felt like a normal Mattress. They also had someone come clean their rooms regularly, and we did not. In the week we were there, our room was tended to once. Some of the staff were more helpful than others. Because we booked through a third-party site, they would not give us any kind of renumeration. The buffet breakfast was fine. The kids had waffles every day. Members are our party have various dietary needs, and those were not satisfied by the buffet (gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free). Luckily, it’s a great location with endless restaurants and shops nearby, so picking up breakfast while we were out was never a challenge.

Location was great. Hotel staff was helpful. Valet was fast and easy. Will say that our room and certain shared spaces could use some polishing and minor repairs though. Nothing drastic but could use some TLC.
-
room is getting old- peeling paint, dated. rooms are small- pull-out couch is cheap and very uncomfortable. breakfast was horrible and we paid for the Homewood Suites package but got Hampton Inn.
-
We had a wonderful visit to the city. The staff was very helpful and the valets were very courteous. The property was close to lots of shopping and things to do.
-
Location was central and rooms were clean and spacious.

Everyone who worked there were very nice and helpful. The kitchenettes were well stocked, and the buffet was large. Rooms were dated and shower and floors dirty. Bed and mattress on fold out couch were thin, lumpy and one rolled into the center of each. The fitness center was dirty, did not have working water dispensers, and none of the cardio equipment had been maintained so that if it worked (only the elliptical machines worked) they were noisily squeaking and clicking when in use.

Location was awesome! Room was huge! Great views of city! A/C was outdated and didn’t work well. Room was a bit outdated. Small bathroom with no venting.
-
Hotel room spacious. Kitchen well equipped. Television with lots of channels. Aircon worked well. Can definitely recommend the hotel! Long waits for the lift sometime!

They have 3 elevators for a very large number of guests. We had to wait a very long time during high volume times like breakfast and check out. 2 times decided to go down 19 flights of stairs because we got tired b of waiting. Otherwise we had a great stay. Good breakfast and clean comfortable room.
-
Wonderful place to stay, breakfast was good, staff was friendly, would recommend staying in a lower floor in the summer room was very warm on the 39th floor.
-
During our 7 day stay, we had to move rooms three times due to the air conditioning units going out. Even when we arrived in the third room, we still had to use 2 box fans to keep the room cool. In the first room, the bathroom doorknobs were falling off. The sofas in the living room were incredibly uncomfortable and we found ourselves trying not to sit on them. The pool was closed for "renovations" with no notice from the staff or on the site. There were also "peak times" when we would have to wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator because they didn't have enough elevator space to accommodate the guests.

Very well located hotel with a slight better std north american breakfast. Several good restaurants surrounding. Confortable double suites. The building requires some renovation, some furniture/decoration condition in private/common áreas are simply unacceptable. (See below)

Nice staff Great parking Breakfast lacked diversity and hot food like eggs. Only overcooked scrambled eggs was available
-
Was in a good area to be in. The swimming pool was out of service. Also the air conditioning wasn't working.
-
Perfect location...little tried in the furniture in the restaurant but otherwise absolutely 🙂 👍
