This is a return stay for our family to this hotel. We really love the room setup, clean and comfortable beds and bathroom, and location. We were excited to try out the new addition of the breakfast, but found it to be chaotic.

Great location; spacious room; good gym; decent breakfast; friendly staff.

Residence Inn was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. It was clean and in a great location for everything we wanted to do, including sightseeing, dining, shopping, and grocery shopping. The room had a large refrigerator, microwave, sink, and oven, which was perfect because we could cook if we wanted to. We will definitely come back here the next time we visit Chicago!

The only issue we experienced was with the air conditioning, which did not cool the room enough. Since we were only staying for one night and were quite tired, we didn’t bother asking the staff to look into it. Other than that, we had no issues with the hotel. The breakfast was fairly basic, nothing special, but it was OK.

Steve helped us get a minivan to the airport. That was a nice touch. I appreciated his help. I didn't know there was no pool until I got to the hotel.

Very beautiful. Walking distance from shopping stores and food places. Very peaceful.

The staff was very helpful l, efficient and professional! Ideally located.

The hotel was in a great area where everything was walkable and accessible. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room itself was updated with touch screen buttons, a bright bathroom vanity and automatic curtains. The room included a kitchenette with a larger refrigerator, stovetop, sink, and dishwasher. They also included all the essentials needed for our several night stay and had a variety of dietary options for the continental breakfast that was provided in the mornings. It’s conveniently located close to a Trader Joe’s and right next to the Starbucks reserve and lots of shopping so there was plenty to do! Would definitely stay here again!

Location is great as it’s right next to Starbucks Reserve and steps away from Magnificent Mile where the Harry Potter store is located. The Studio room floor plan works well with non-carpet entry way and a side table at the entrance of your room. Easy to drop items on the side table and tuck two upright large luggage against the wall. Left side of the hallway was the washroom with a large counter with two sinks. I found the counter too high / above standard than normal washroom counters but enjoyed the wide space between the sinks for toiletries. Each sink’s wall had an outlet which is useful so you don’t need to share it. To the left of the counter was a private enclosed toilet room and on the right, was a shower room. I found it odd that the toilet’s glass door was frosted while the shower’s glass door was see-through. Shower faucet’s water pressure was good, only wished it was detachable so easier to shave your legs. Amenities provided separate shampoo, conditioner, body wash but I didn’t use the products. Had too strong of a fragrance for me. Kitchenette was perfect and key highlight for booking this room. Mini fridge also included freezer and decent sized. I was surprised there was a stove (didn’t use) and included pots, plastic cooking utensils, and utensils. Included a dishwasher with detergent which I immediately used to wash the provided cups, dishes, utensils, and bowls. Coffee machine was okay, I used it to get hot water for tea. A toaster was available but I didn’t use it. Microwave was above the kitchenette counter and large enough to nuke big meals. King sized bed with side tables were great and included lamps and charging plug and usb-a outlet. Tv hung in front of the bed and had a resting chair. Also a desk with night light and plugs to work if needed. Chair was comfortable and supportive to work from a laptop. Bed was a bit too soft and not supportive for people like me who would prefer a more firmer bed. Pillows were soft and not supportive but I brought my own memory foam pillow and used this.

Great breakfast. Great room. If there is something to complain about, it's slow elevators.
-
We loved the amenities, such as the mini kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave. We also enjoyed the very ample and generous breakfast which was provided with the room. The hotel was very well kept, and it was sparkling clean which we so appreciated. It was located right around the corner from Michigan Avenue, which was a central, walkable location to many major sights. We will definitely book this hotel again!

Close proximity to tourist spots. a very walkable location for shops, restaurants, and to the Riverwalk. Access to the guest floors only possible with a keycard. The lobby is on the 20th floor, while visitor check-in is on the first floor. Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about local areas of interest.

Close to everything

The room was as I expected from a Marriott property. Exceptionally cleaned, organized, and functional. The staff were helpful and professional.

Very good

The junior suite was spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us. It had a full kitchen and massive shower. My only complaint was our particular housekeeper was a bit lax. I had to request additional paper towels and leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher as she never replaced the dishwasher detergent. The breakfast was good and options varied from day to day

Fantastic hotel, large room, double sinks, lovely kitchen area with everything you need. Beds really comfy and amazing views. Breakfast great addition!

Great hotel located in the heart of Chicago. Next door to the Starbucks reserve. Couldn't be in a better location. The room was also very nice.

We loved staying here. The room itself was very clean and modern with a good sized kitchen with a dish washer and larger fridge than you typically see. It was a great location next door to the Starbucks reserve, great shopping, and a short walk to the red line station. The staff went above and beyond to help us from the housekeeping staff, lobby staff, and luggage assistance. We also loved the hot complimentary breakfast which was good quality and had really nice variety. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Chicago. Perfect for our family of three!
