Helpful staff and beautiful atmosphere!

I wished I had more time. It was great, the location and the food was excellent. I will definitely go back. Nice place to celebrate a milestone or special events.

Need more valet personnel - pay $87 a day but have to wait in your car dropping off because they don’t have enough personnel.

Be careful of the parking garage. We mistakenly took a left instead of a right and ended up underneath but saw a sign for the Renaissance. Then got stuck in the parking garage due to needing to load an app by QR code and enter information. Long story but the Hotel was not even affiliated with the parking garage underneath the hotel

Pros: Conveniently located, easy access to the River alk millennium Park public transit and we did not have to wait long for rideshare

The location and that it was quite but still in the heart of the city The price was significantly more than usual because an event was in town

Great central location & generous corner room with balcony. Clean & spacious Appalling they charge $150 per night per room for incidentals. No other hotel charges this excessive amount. In our case, $900 for two rooms charged against my credit card which will take a minimum of 10 days to be released. Totally unacceptable & unnecessary

Giant brown stain on the left side set of curtains in our room (1819.) Pool was not heated and very shallow- only 4 feet and small. Placed on the side of building next to fire station. A little loud. View blocked by buildings. Great location.

I asked 2 different people twice for a brief greeting card for my Mom in the room since it is her first time in her dream city. The card could have been as simple as "Welcome to Chicago, Maia" but it was not there. I know it probably sounds like a small thing but I really wanted her to feel welcome.

This property is a wonderful option for anything Grant Park related - very walkable. I went for Lollapalooza and the location and price (considering the proximity, the event, etc) were absolutely excellent. Great lobby, great room. My only complaint is that I had a credit to use on property and the woman working at the restaurant did not allow me to order anything 25 minutes prior to closing time. She wasn’t unfriendly or unkind by any means, it was just a bit of a bummer to have to find a place to eat during such a heavy volume weekend when the restaurant in my hotel would have been free of charge, and was still clearly “open”. Even the front manager tried, but she didn’t budge. Wasn’t enough to deter me from staying again, it was just a little bump in the road.

Very hard to find parking, valet and luggage attendant. Ulysses the shift manager smirked and was sarcastic when we asked for help with splitting the bill which he said at check in was no problem. The rest of the staff were pleasant. He was NOT. We checked in, in a rush for an event and was zero help.
