Somewhat of a challenge to drive to and it was the same weekend as Lolapalooza, so it was crazy busy. A daily “extra charge” we weren’t expecting. Overall, it was fine for our first time in Chicago.

I booked a River view king and they over sold so they tried to move me to a double. I’m traveling with my wife and that was t going to work. So they moved me to a king on the 33rd floor to one of their higher tiered rooms. It was mediocre to say the least. They offered $100 resort credit to use while I stay and access to their club lounge. 1st of all resort credit is funny money and $100 is an. Insult. Their club lounge was packed with convention travelers and the food was not good.

I stayed in room 854. The shower water pressure was dangerously high to the point that after one shower, my back completely spasmed because of the pressure of water hitting my back muscle. It was the morning of my second day in the city. Six days later (nearly a week since my stay), and I’m on bed rest back at home because I’m still experiencing significant pain. I won’t stay here again.

I love that the property was in the heart of downtown. Just a block or so over from Michigan Ave. I didn’t like that the room did not have a microwave. For the price paid, all rooms should have a fridge and microwave.

Love staying here. Location is perfect!

The rooms are clean and tidy.

Room was well maintained with clean linen, and toiletries'. Breakfast cafe was VERY expensive. $38.00 per person for a buffet was way too expensive. Some staff was helpful. While others at the front desk were somewhat rude and acted like the guest were an inconvenience. Access to things outside the hotel was very convient. All in all, I will check for other locations, in the future. I will probably use another search engine to make accommodations. Expedia was anything but helpful when I had a problem. Can never get hold of anyone who knew what to do to assist.

Our room itself was fine. It could use some updates, the fridge was basically falling apart. The view was fabulous, but it was very noisy at night with the traffic going by and being able to hear our neighbors. Knowing this, I would probably advise to choose a different hotel with a similar view.

Rooms are very small.

Clean rooms and great location.

Destination fee was quite a surprise. Toilet ran a lot—had to constantly shake it. Very comfortable bed and pillows

I love being able to walk out and beyond the river walk. Loved being able to walk pretty much to anywhere where we needed anything. I didn’t like that we have to pay extra money for amenities that we were not interested in.
-
The phone in the room did not work and the bed was very uncomfortable.

Definitely would stay here again

Outstanding location, beautiful and functional lobby, fast elevators, nice room.
-
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, walking distance from Navy Pier and Ohio Street Beach. Felt safe and welcomed the entire stay😊

We had a lovely stay. The only complaint was the girl at the check-in desk was very hard to hear and a little standoffish. The breakfast buffet is also incredibly overpriced for a glorified continental breakfast.
