Staff was super helpful and accommodating
-
Better breakfast and coffee
-
The only thing that was slightly negative was the elevators were sometimes very slow.

Clean

This place was great. I did feel like I was looked down on slightly for using a third party booking place. But the location was great and the hotel was very clean.
-
Breakfast was always on time. Even on the weekend when I forgot they open later!
-
The location of the hotel is excellent, many of the attractions quite close. The breakfast could be a little more varied.
-
The staff was SUPER as was the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would score 10/10 and I definitely would recommend you to book your stay.

Staff was great. Hats off to Rachel for all her help. BUT... Upon arrival, our shower was not working correctly. Handle would not turn to hot water. (Broken Valve) Informed staff the next morning, as the water was semi warm, but not hot. The next day, told that the boiler had failed (the night before) and there would be no hot water until 4 pm. That came and went. Still no hot water next day. Again staff reported boiler fixed but did not report the shower valve issue. Work began on that until we returned that night, before going to a concert, and it worked. But for 3 days, we had semi warm, day 1, day 2 & 3 was no hot or warm water. And it was 63 degrees outside during this week. BREAKFAST: Worst I have ever had. French toast is supposed to be hot, and cooked (browned), eggs are supposed to be hot and not drippy. Both sides had the same, French toast that was still wet from the batter, not browned and cold. And I mean cold. Eggs, the same. The cook needs to be fired. I've had a better Breakfast at Holiday Inn. The set-up in NY was 10x better (same company, Residence Inn). We were given 20K points for the hot water issue but I didn't want to push the food issue. Our last day (4 total) was toasting bagels for something hot and cereal. Now usually, Marriott is very good, and we look for them first when traveling, but in Chicago..... we will not.

This hotel is the best. I stayed at the connecting hotel 4 years ago and loved it. This year I stayed at the Residence Inn and it is still the best. Location, cleanliness and the staff is all so nice. From the beginning with Jermaine at the front door, then to Mya at the desk. I talked to Mya the day before just making sure I got all my questions answered before arrival. She was outstanding she went above and beyond to help me with my room. Not to mention every time I seen her she was so friendly and always smiling. Everyone there is friendly. When I go back I am staying right there. Excellent service.

Location was great and driver was friendly. All staff at reception was friendly. Corridors / other guests were a bit noisy.

Centrally located - walkable to multiple sites and close to metro
-
Room was clean. The boiler went out and we were without hot water for a day and half the night. Compensated with 10,000 bonyou points.
-
It was a little confusing that I was told every room was considered a Sweet, but other than that the parking situation was probably the worst part

Stay was good

Location and facilities was perfect
