We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Chicago! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short 10-minute walk to the Starbucks Reserve, along with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Inside, everything was spotless—the floors were freshly swept and mopped. The front desk staff were super helpful—they even got us early check-in by enrolling us in a club, since we arrived before the standard check-in time. The room had everything we needed—a coffee maker, water bottles, a fridge, microwave, and a little sink area. My husband could even do his homework at the desk. The large window let in so much light, and the AC kept us comfortable during the beautiful Chicago weather. Another huge plus was the laundry—we used the washer and dryer on the top floor, which were only $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry—so convenient! The hotel also had a fantastic happy hour at the bar, which we attended a few nights—half-off drinks and appetizers were a real treat. And the free breakfast every day was amazing—so many great options. They also provided all the essentials—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, and an iron. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

We had a very pleasant stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Downtown Chicago. The included breakfast was convenient and a great way to start each day. I also appreciated the unlimited coffee and tea, which was a nice bonus. The laundry room was very useful during our trip, especially for a longer stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and I liked that the staff asked whether we preferred daily cleaning or every-other-day service. The front desk team was helpful and welcoming. Katrina, in particular, patiently answered all our questions and made our stay easier and more enjoyable.

Our visit to the Springhill suites was lovely. The hotel was in a great location. It was very close to the Riverwalk and within walking distance to the Navy Pier and downtown Chicago. There are plenty good restaurants within walking distance. The Breakfast provided was very good with many choices. We would highly recommend staying here when you are in Chicago.

I like the walkability/ proximity to major attractions. The property is clean and well maintained. Breakfast are always filled, crews were attentive. I just wish the cut fruits were freshly prepared rather than the jar ones. Kathryna from front desk is very helpful and provided us with water when we needed it. Jermaine from the baggage counter has a good customer service. The room has the best sofa/ trundle (West Elm), my son was very comfortable. Overall a wonderful stay.

Almost everything was great, specially the stuff! Gym could be better equipped
-
Breakfast buffet is horrible. Elevators are an adventure.
-
I love the location. Breakfast was okay not the best but it’s almost the same warm food choices every morning. Staff are friendly but they need more staff to assist guests from the main entrance below. I was struggling to enter with all my luggages and small kids and the only staff inside by the elevator was too busy. When we got inside, I had to ask for a cart so i can bring all our luggages up to the lobby then to our room. I didn’t like the shared elevator to go to the main floor. It delays you

Great accommodations and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Friendly & courteous staff. 😊

Close to most attractions and the river. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Of course, comfortable and parking connected to the hotel. Parking fee

The hotel was nice. The location was good and the staff was amazing. The breakfast was typical. Having the hotel attached to the parking garage was definitely a plus since we had storms during our stay. It was nice and convenient to be close to the Red Line. The website states there is a pool only to arrive and find out that the pool has been closed since covid. The staff shared that they had tried to get the sites to take it off several times but it has not been taken off misleading people. The staff did offer to find a sister hotel with a pool to move us to. The only other complaint that I have is the location of the air conditioning for the room. There is a little wall that sticks out and blocks it from flowing through the entire room.
-
Location Small room, two different elevators to get to your room, too expensive for what they offer
-
Service was wonderful. Breakfast food could’ve been a little better. Wish there was a pool onsite.
