I love staying at the Buckingham. It's quiet and very secure for a woman traveling alone. It's conveniently located as well.

Friendly staff. Quiet. Nice perk of access to health club. Wall and trim are in need of a refresher.

Great option for work travel. Clean and peaceful place to work and stay, with the only distraction being the great views of the city and lake. May not be the best option for vacation travelers due to its location.

The location was great for us. We were in town for a concert so our stay was short but the location was very convenient. The room was clean and big.

A great hotel on the 40th floor of a financial building. Everything is in walking distance. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Parking in the garage was very convenient.

We had an awesome stay for Lollapalooza festival. 15 min walk so perfect location! Small boutique 21 room hotel on 40th floor! Amazing view of the city and lake! View of the Allianz stage in Grant park was cool. This was a former private club in the former stock exchange building. Very quiet and super secure hotel. Can’t access building without key card and key card needed to get to 40th floor. Continental breakfast is included with amazing views! Definitely will be back!

View from the room was perfect! I’d appreciate free water next time.

The registration person does not know how to give direction. We were lost and finally found the basement garage and i ask how to get to the hotel, was told just to walk around until you find the hotel??! I ask if we have to get out of the garage but did not get a definite answer... just annoying... The hotel sign is too tiny to see.

My husband & I had a deluxe king suite with an amazing view of Lake Michigan and the skyscrapers! The staff was very helpful in getting to the correct elevator from the parking garage (it's a bit tricky finding how to get to The Buckingham Hotel from the parking garage as it's on the 40th floor with it's own elevator that you have to get to from the 39th floor; however, the garage and building are very secure with 24 hour security). The views are amazing, and the chairs by the big picture window are comfy to sit in and watch all the boats and the beautiful sunrise over the Lake. The king bed was very comfy, and the grab and go breakfast was good.

Staff, lounge, room are all nice!

This hotel is a hidden gem! It is clean, updated, tastefully decorated, fantastic views, and a quick walk from a lot of attractions and restaurants. Being on the 40th floor, it was quiet and away from all that was going on below. We walked over from Union Station, so we did not use the parking. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great view and location
-
Very spacious room with comfortable beds. Access to a lovely swimming pool. A great view from the room. Right next to a tube station that goes right to the airport. There is a sign in the bathroom asking us to Save the Seahorses and only to get towels changed if needed and not to waste resources. However, in the breakfast room, everything was plastic and disposable with no recyling. If the hotel is serious about wasting resources, it should not be producing so much plastic waste from all the disposable stuff it provides at breakfast.
