Superb

The location is great and the staff was pleasant and helpful. As with my past experience. The more you pay for a hotel the less you get. I couldn't get on the wi-fi but I didn't pay for the premium. They added 30 dollars to the Expedia price. You can get some or all of the 30 back if you eat at the hotel. (No free breakfast.) I think the Expedia price should be honest.

Beautiful, clean, well managed, and great amenities

The JW Chicago is wonderful! The rooms and common areas are clean and well maintained, the staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was perfectly located in the city for easy walking. A perfect hotel!

Excellent location and a very convenient place to stay in the city. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the L, making it simple to get around Chicago. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming at check-in, and the workout facilities were very nice. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location with easy access to everything we wanted to do.

The hotel and staff were great. The room was very clean, but the bed was not comfortable at all, it was way too hard for my liking. Maybe it was just me because my friend was ok with her bed. We had a room with two queen beds.

Everything was great except for our lock, which wasn’t working. They had to call maintenance to replace it. It was a hassle going back and forth to place a key, only to find out that the door was out of battery and needed to be replaced.

We reached early and they let us have our room much earlier than the check in time, we are very thankful and appreciative of the welcome. The lady was very understanding and helpful. Thank you

Room was very clean. Staff was helpful. The location is absolutely amazing. We walked to broadway and most places in the loop. To go shopping in Michigan avenue it was about a 10 min uber. Restaurant in the building is really good Rooms are smaller compared to other JW Marriott, likely because it is an old building. But they were still comfortable and clean. Staff charged me a different rate than what I paid for in booking and then said I had to figure it out with Booking. So in that sense not very helpful.
