The room was comfortable as was the bed. We had a room with a courtyard view as opposed to a city view. The price should have included a view.

Be careful when you book and pay. The hotel charged me at checkout even though I prepaid with Expedia. I was dismissed and told by Expedia there is nothing they can do, and the hotel won't refund.

The cost for valet parking

This hotel is competitively priced with great amenities and upgrades. I booked an executive suite which gave access to a complimentary dining lounge for two guests during my stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I didn't have the time to use the spa or indoor pool but walked by it when looking for a microwave to reheat my food. The microwave was located in the family room which was setup for children/families to play games, read, craft, etc. Overall my stay was good.

Room service was going to be an additional $30+ in unspecified fees. In room fridge doesn’t have a freezer and is on a two hour timer, rendering it worthless. For $400+ a night the fridge should at least be usable.

Very clean room and nice staff.
-
It's very nice and well-maintained, and the staff is very, very good. The only problem is that they charge you for everything. The Wi-Fi is supposed to be included in the hotel's rates, which you have to pay for separately. They also charge you for everything, and they don't charge you for a single transaction, but for a few transactions at a time. It's in a good location, but honestly, you pay a lot, and they still try to charge you for everything.

After a 2hr flight delay due to the Canadian Wildfires we arrived in CHICAGO. Black Car Sedan Service pickup assured arrival to the hotel, I was completely amazed. The doorman assisted with exiting the limo to an absolutely clean street, curb and sidewalk. After a 50ft walk, we were at the front desk. Only two minutes later we were headed to the elevator doors that open before we can even reach to touch the call button. The door opens to the 4th floor and our room was less than 10 feet away from the elevator. The smell was awesome and then we entered the room. Because it was late in the evening and I just wanted to wash away the travel time and the smoke from the Canadian Wildfires. I was ready bath and beelined to the bathroom. This is where reality hits. The very bath towels that I needed to dry off look like they were used to clean up urine. Thinking I could sip tea while I call for fresh linen I saw the water bottles were outside the fridge and opened and obviously used and the carafe was soiled. SAD!

Very good

They accommodated my requests for our special occasions with extra treats, room upgrade, room amenities and helpful suggestions to make our stay memorable. The concierge communicated with me before our arrival for bookings and followed through on our arrival. Excellent staff and total ease throughout.

Beautiful lobby, sparkling marble floors. Would appreciate more hooks/storage space in the bathroom
-
I was double billed after being assured I would not be charged by both agent and hotel when I saw the hold, as it was a prepaid booking via Expedia
