The room was beautiful but the toilet made a loud noise after you flushed. It woke up my partner in the middle of the night. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

Excellent location in the Financial District, right off the Quincy CTA stop, making getting around the city super simple. Check-in is on the 21st floor, along with the bar and restaurant. The staff at the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable; they informed us about ongoings at the hotel and gave us info about the concierge service. The elevators are secured by your room key, which you have to scan before being able to select your floor. The room was clean and a nice cool temperature for our mid-September stay. The thermostat was easy to adjust and the room temperature acclimated quickly. There is soooo much storage space in the two closets. You have approximately 10 different lighting choices, including an overhead "big light" that is dimmable. The bed was a nice medium firmness and the pillows were so soft and fluffy. The room came fitted with a large tv mounted across from the bed that we indulged in while we gave our feet a rest one day; you can use their cable or a selection of streaming options (PlutoTV, Netflix, Prime, Youtube). The mini fridge is large enough to hold some restaurant leftovers or water bottles/drinks you bring with you. The bathroom was spacious and clean with nice touches like a dental kit and shaving kit on top of standard fittings like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The water closet is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a locking door as well. Towels are plentiful. Check-in was seamless, the on-site restaurant was good, if a bit pricey (we had their Saturday brunch), check-out was simple. Really enjoyed staying here and I will keep The Lasalle on my shortlist when I'm in the city. Nothing, really. The hallways are a bit long from the elevators, but that's just the layout of the building, not much to be done about that.

Great location staff amenities and room I liked everything
-
Great location. Short walk to the red line and plenty of good food nearby. We were able to walk to most destinations. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. We did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot speak to how good it is.

Really great hotel. I’d recommend! Cute area not far from the Loop and great things to do!
-
Everything. Beautiful property. Nothing - it was perfect.
-
The room was very nice and in very good condition. The bed was comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and yet was stuck in a room right next to the L (Chicago’s elevated train system). Not pleasant. Some staff seemed more argumentative than helpful. Only okay for $800 a night.
-
The room was so dirty that we felt uncomfortable staying so we immediately checked- out and did not stay. The front desk staff did not seem alarmed or concerned about the matter.
-
Good location, easy to access, restaurants and bar convenient.

I have stayed at the Drover in Fort Worth multiple times and it is an autograph collection Hotel as well. There’s just absolutely no comparison. The Drover is a five star Hotel This autograph collection in Chicago is at Best a four star, honestly I’m being kind it’s probably a 3.5 star. It definitely needs some upkeep. the inside looks like an older hotel the rooms need upgraded, the carpets need updated. The staff was friendly but in absolutely no way did they go above and beyond like they do at the Drover. but overall it was a nice stay. The restaurant at the hotel was very small. The food was decent, but it also needs a complete renovation. It is very outdated. In my opinion, not worth the autograph Hotel price that I paid. I expected something similar to the Drover in Fort Worth and it was definitely not that. I will say that the bellman whose name I cannot remember, he was a wonderful black gentleman. That honestly is what made me give it four star stars because he definitely went above and beyond in my opinion.
