The best hotel breakfast I have ever had. I will return for the breakfast!

Gorgeous building inside and out. Beautiful clean rooms. Amazing public spaces. Breakfast was by far one of the best meals of the whole trip.

It’s a rarity to come across such an amazing bed and breakfast that blends modern comforts, character and convenience all in one. Unlike chain hotels, the rooms are spotlessly clean. The linens are real cotton and freshly laundered. The toiletries are top notch. Loved the pugs too. I would not hesitate to return.

This b and b was gorgeous, spacious & quiet. I was nervous about staying in one house with a bunch of people but it was so big i never knew anyone else was even there until i went to get coffee/breakfast. it was such a big space that even being a full capacity of their rooms it was not crowded at all. i had plenty of space in the common areas and kitchen. The room sizes were huge as well. loved the whole aesthetic. Breakfast and coffee was phenomenal.

This was such a perfect place to stay and I'll definitely stay here whenever going to Chicago. It was close enough to downtown to make it easy to access, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were all friendly and kind, the room was beautiful, the bed was very comfy, and the whole place had such a fun vibe and great decor. Breakfast was tasty and the menu options felt like something you'd order at your favorite fancy brunch spot, with fruit and pastries to round it out.

This was an incredible experience. I was only there one night and wanted to stay longer. The ladies that made breakfast were so incredible and the food was amazing. Will be staying here again!!

not inexpensive, but everything is higher priced in Chicago area; close to United Center & Union Station, so great location; very nice place; much better than a hotel

It was the coolest place I’ve ever stayed at in the USA. I loved the interior design, the attention to detail and the atmosphere there. Loved the size of the room. Also, really enjoyed the breakfast! It was delicious and I especially liked that it was cooked for each person, so less wasteful than a conventional buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

On top of the beautiful decor, live plants, and unique rooms, the butler's pantry as perfect for grabbing and evening pot of tea to enjoy in the great room. Everything struck a great balance between high-end hotel and cozy B&B.

Loved this place - little gem that you'd never notice from the street. Great breakfast and the beds were good too.

Very clean room, friendly staff

This was my fourth time staying at Publishing House, and I hope to return again soon (that is, when it isn't booked solid)! I love it at Publishing House: an ideal location, quiet, comfortable, and with the best possible breakfasts in a beautiful common area. My favorite place to stay in Chicago, really. The staff is also very friendly, and rooms are so beautifully appointed. Thank you, Publishing House!
