SureStay Hotel by Best Western Chula Vista San Diego Bay

Could barely stay the one night, it was just too late to look for another hotel room by the time I checked in. Absolutely disgusting. Would not stay here. Had to leave the next morning and look for another hotel.

Overall and nice cheaper place to stay for a few days I stayed Sunday-Thursday with my family. First night was great friendly staff helpful. 2nd night I woke up to a BIG ROACH on the wall. I complained right away and they were accommodating. I changed rooms and stayed a few more nights despite being uncomfortable knowing they may have roaches. I stayed because the manager took care of my stay and made sure I was comfortable.I over stayed my checkout time by a few hours and paid for another night but was told I couldn’t come back.. I felt like that was weird because I paid for another night had a deposit and was planning on extending my stay even longer but because my money isn’t good enough I won’t be coming back.

Older property. Locks on some doors need repair. Beds floors and rooms clean and ready. AC units older but work well. Pool was under repair so not open. Staff member at check in was ovetwhelmed and couldn’t help my initial issue with but came to room later and helped. Room at check in was sub par, but several staff members helped get me another room for second night. Much appreciated!! Staff step up!!

A place to stay in case your budget is low

Accesible to all. The person assuring me lat night was excepcional.

The front desk (Jose) was very accommodating. During my check-in, multiple guests arrived and he handed my requests promptly together with the rest of the staff.

Stay was okay

dirty and old, I was charged $50 dlrs. only because I stained so towels, and also a false alarm woke up us at 5a.m not worth the price

The bed, well it was ok but whatever covering they have on the mattress under the sheet was very uncomfortable.it caused deep wrinkles in my skin and that hurt. The staff was very nice, but when I asked for a couple towels since we were there for 2 days and only got 2 towels, they said for me to look for a maid and I couldn't find one so they said they would send them, but they never did. So we just refused the towels the send day. The breakfast in most Best Westerns are very good, but not this one. And the poor lady who handles that has a very hard task. It's so crowded in a very small room she can hardly get around. And the only options are tiast. Bagels, bananas, yogurt that is just sitting on the counter not on ice, OJ that's not real and apple juice not real, packaged oatmeal, no hot water, . Let's say it was meager at best. But the price was good at $220.00 for 2 nights. And it's not the best area either. The pool was green with algae! But the staff was really really nice. I thank them!!!

Rooms were okay. The color of the tubs was off-putting. For a quick overnight. Maybe a weekend, it's okay.

Never stay at this place!!

The area is nice rooms are ok . It’s outdated . But overall we were able to sleep . Nice and rest full night

I love how clean the room was everything was completely spotless on the other hand the only thing that I didn’t like was the tub. It was tarnished, peeling, and scrapped up near the drain. Although it was a little issue I would consider booking again!

It was a calm area. Felt safe. Property next door had security which added to the feeling of ease.
