The Rambler Hotel

This was such a fun and colorful place to stay with kids! They love the pool and the s'mores by the fireplace. The staff and maintenance man were so helpful and courteous. The water in the showers was amazing! The room was clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was basic but there's other options for purchase. I will definitely stay again!!

The room is very clean and well maintained. They clean it everyday. The staff are helpful, but customer service needs to be improved by learning to greet and smile. The wifi is great. No problems with connectivity. They're breakfast is ok. It's not the best but it's still alright. They have instant oatmeal packets, coffee, juice, yogurt, little muffins, bread, instant waffles that you can heat in the toaster, cereal, strawberry jams, and peanut butter. They can ran out real quick because they don't refill their stuff. I feel like they do that on purpose so people will buy from their cafe instead.

Spent the weekend away at the Rambler and was so impressed by the various amenities and attitude of the staff. Everything was very clean, everyone was extremely nice and friendly, and the room itself was very comfortable and well decorated. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was very friendly and super helpful. The room was really clean. Location was good. We were close to most of the attractions we were going to visit. Only negative was the loud noises from surrounding areas.

We have stayed here 2-3 times our last trips to San Diego . It’s in Chula Vista but right next to the freeway and close drive to everything. Love the aesthetic of the Cali socal retro theme . Parking on site . Cafe onsite closes early so need to go out for dinner . The pool is adorable and there are pool games too . They have movie night at the pool on certain days . Staff is friendly and helpful. We will be returning on our next trip to San Diego .

Just a great place to stay!

I have stayed here a handful of times. It’s cute and reasonably priced for a good bed and pillows. Not like a dinky motel. They added a continental breakfast we did just once because it was pretty picked over towards the end and we’re not early risers. We just got a room towards the back with a lot of maintenance noise. Wish the pool was open later for a night swim, they also stop lending out their bikes near sunset, for safety. Nice to have the light rail by crossing the street.

I had no idea this was in Chula Vista. Perfect location, nearby everything, restaurants, mall, gambling, movie theaters freeway. Downtown within minutes. Kids enjoyed the pool, arcade available easy to keep an eye on children. Air conditioning worked Perfect.

Great experience for a Motel

It was clean and the room was nice. We only stayed 1 night but it was smooth check in.

We have stayed here twice with grandkids. Fun theme in rooms, great pool with music playing, you can order food & drinks from poolside lounger. Giant Jenga, connect four, cornhole, around pool, Outside gas fireplace at night. Onsight cafe/store. and arcade. Nearby attractions. Temperatures cooler than inland San Diego, right across from Coronado, but without Coronado prices. Grab & go free breakfast OK, coffee, juice, cereal, milk, yogurt & granola. Mini muffins & waffles. If you want a cooked breakfast, it is available to buy.

Clean room and friendly staff. I only wish the coffee shop would stay open later.

The hotel it’s not a hotel it’s a motel literally, just put a vibrant colors but it’s a rathole with a rude staff on front desk not help at all expensive rooms for a 25 box value rooms
