Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown/The Phelps

Room was clean, breakfast was good, location was ideal for getting to the ballpark. My only complaint was the amount of outside noise we heard. We were on the 9th floor and from 10 pm until well after midnight we heard so many sirens and firetrucks and ambulances it was ridiculous. Then the fireworks (not the hotel's fault) were LOUD and went on for a long time. I had a terrible night's sleep due to the outside noise that I was surprised we could hear so clearly.

Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Staff was helpful, location wonderful, and property clean.

I very much enjoyed the property, I love that there was a beautiful park right in front and it felt like there was an amazing park as your front lawn. I booked the biggest sweet possible and from both the pictures and the fact that it was the largest sweep I expected it to be on the upper floors. Unfortunately I was put on the 4th floor facing brick walls So if you're looking for a view I would call to make sure that they're putting you somewhere with a view if you get a nicer room. Also we were there for a total of six nights and we were told that they would clean the rooms every two days. They forgot and after I called to complain the cleaners had already left for the day. That means that my room was cleaned only once for the six nights that we were there and it was "refreshed" with new towels twice that I was aware. Definitely disappointed with that. That said the staff was amazing especially the breakfast crew, and breakfast was solid. Rooftop bar was good and the tuna was amazing! I would stay here again but I would make sure that I get what I am paying for in terms of views and service.

We brought a small dog and we enjoyed the convenience of the beautiful park across the street. The staff was very good to us and our pet. The rooftop bar is so wonderful on a nice day!

It was a great location. Breakfast was great. Our room and view was amazing. The towels were amazing. They were soft. Not scratchy like so many hotel towels.

The view Found some candy on the floor as soon as we walked in and the room was a little stuff. And I went down to get a pop and was charged 17.95 to my room. I wouldn't have got it if I had know it was that much

Great hotel close to the river and the ballpark and arena ! Just an overall great stay . They have overnight valet parking for those of us who drive to Cincy . Would love to figure out a reason to go back - thumbs up !!!

Helpful staff and excellent property. Only drawback was valet parking which was VERY SLOW and inconvenient. Self-parking not available on property.

Great hotel located on the quiet side of downtown Cincinnati, right across from Lytle Park. View from the rooftop bar is incredible! Room was great (I believe they gave us an upgrade). Breakfast was great. Walking distance to many restaurants, stadiums, bars, etc.
