Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Clackamas

Great property. Nice size rooms. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was excellent — great variety every morning. The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were wonderful, always greeting us warmly whether we were coming or going. A couple of things to note: communicating with housekeeping was difficult due to a language barrier when we needed something in the room. Also, the pool is advertised as saltwater but had a strong chlorine smell that lingered on skin for days afterward — worth knowing if that’s a dealbreaker for you. That said, the pool area was clean and towels were always readily available. Overall, a solid stay with great food and friendly service — just a couple of areas that could use improvement.

This was a very clean property, and the staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was not to my liking. Needed more options.

The location was excellent, many restaurants and stores nearby. Very clean, would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend! Loved everything !

I was recently in Portland to attend a Golden wedding anniversary celebration with family and my grandchildren. My grandkids loved the breakfast and especially the indoor pool. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. One day we all just walked over to the mall which is so convenient to the hotel. This is a very clean and new feeling property deserving full marks in my opinion!

Nice hotel. Decent room

We had a great room on the lower floor with our pet French Bulldog. The one bedroom suite was fantastic! Plenty of outside "potty breaks" for Jasper.

Very clean and organized

It was very clean and the room and amenities were well maintained. I was very comfortable staying here.

The room had a kitchen and large bathroom, which was nice. The staff were helpful. The only downside was that the shower doesn't have a door, so the water finds it's way out onto the bathroom floor. 1st world problems.

Everything was good

The room was lovely. We could have stayed there for weeks! The pool was nice and clean and warm-ish. The laundry facilities were nicely updated. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was fantastic. Honestly, I can't think of anything that needed improvement for our stay.

Clean

We drove down from Seattle and this was the perfect stay. Fast chargers across the parking lot and level 2 chargers in the parking lot. Super easy to get to the hotel. The room was clean and even stocked with kitchen essentials. Best of the the pool was heated and my daughter had us go swimming 3 times in a day day visit. I will definitely stay here again if I come to town.
