Clean, staff was excellent.

The staff is amazing here. Friendly and have the Iowa hospitality I love so much. We stay at this hotel 5-6 times a year and it never disappoints. Yes, it’s older, but it’s clean. It’s well kept up. Dave at the front desk will make you feel warm and welcome every time♥️. The breakfast is excellent. We will continue to return.

My 13 year old and I stayed one night for an event in Clear Lake. We enjoyed a good sleep and delicious breakfast.

We absolutely love this hotel! We stay here every time we visit Clear Lake! The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is great! Lots of variety and options (we are obsessed with the cheesey egg omelettes). There is a great pool and hot tub and the fireplace sitting area is cozy and welcoming. Thank you for another great visit!

Average hotel. Good location

The staff was helpful and polite; very responsive to to questions or requests. Unfortunately, the room felt very damp and smelled like mold.

No elevator! Older people were struggling with there luggage.

This is a convenient place to stay, and it's clean. I wish breakfast had been a little more satisfying. I'm whining about breakfast, right?!? I guess that judging by the set-up and on-line information I had my heart set on B&G. Ah well. Have stayed here before while in town for concerts at Surf and will continue to!

The AmericInn in Clear Lake, IA was wonderful. The lobby and rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will absolutely stay there again.

Old hotel. You get what you pay for. No door on restroom in pool area. Toilet is wide open for all to see. Crabby front desk staff. Keys did not work. Had to have it reprogrammed repeatedly. Many others having same issue. No elevator. Breakfast weak at best.

We had to have our keys rekeyed every time we came back at night.

The hotel was spotless, the staff was super and I would highly recommend it! Not disappointed at all, would stay here again. Super clean establishment.

Good location and pretty good place to stay.

Tub drain was plugged! Calf deep in water after shower! Soap wrapper was empty at the vanity! Room smelled like dog! Stay away for this motel!

A little dated.

The staff went above and beyond. It didn't feel like your typical hotel stay, it felt like a touch of family. Special shout out to the older gentleman that worked late shift. He really had a passion of service.

Overall, our stay was good and I'd stay here again if I needed a place in the Clear Lake area.
