We were in a building in back of the main lodge. When the train came thru at 2:30 am it sounded like it was 20 feet away.

90+ degrees outside with heat index in 100s and was placed on 4th floor with no ac unit in wall. Only ac was what was running in hotel itself. My room 77 degrees entire stay. Didn't even undo my bed, slept on top comforter and all with my lil blanket from home. Prolly should consider putting in wall units to ALL rooms. Suppose it's freezing in winter or warm on that floor? Breakfast was decent but using real dishes, was nice more homey, but felt i could ho back to my room to eat, it wasnt clear if could or not.

Rooms are smelled musty. Called down for extra pillows, there were none! How does that happen? WiFi worked some of the time. Breakfast was ok. Pancake appliance wasn’t working (I had grandkids with me). The pool was exceptional! The grandkids enjoyed it! We stayed in Clear Lake, Iowa on Saturday the 4th of July. Next time, we will stay somewhere else. Best western needs to step up their game. CL is a very popular summertime vacation destination.

One room was booked with a joining rooms capabilities but the other on a different floor. They were able to move us to the same floor but still not the same. Clearly with a little planning we could have been accommodated since the people on the other side of the a joining room didn’t request it.

We reserved with Hotels.com. Our room was clean. The A/C is very loud, in our room. Has argon beautiful soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Loved the smell. Complementary coffee in the lobby. Pretty pool, clean, fresh breakfast. With laundry area.

Bed was uncomfortable old place but breakfast was great setup and good, ice machine was inconvenient, staff was really nice and felt safe there

My stay here was good and relaxing. I have no bad things to say about my stay here. just the cost could be alittle less for I found a cheaper Hotel in town not far from this one.

Good location (ie easy to find), comfortable room and friendly staff. Didn't stay long enough to provide a proper appraisal. Nothing we could think of - so it must have been good!

great location to Mason City if not wanting to stay in Mason City - and right off the main highway. Great nearby fast food chains and Brennigans attached to motel.
