Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clear Lake

Overall an excellent motel for our purposes.

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The staff were helpful and it was a very quiet room for sleeping.

We stayed July 3-July 7 and housekeeping never visited our room. I had to go the the front desk for extra towels and when I asked for towels, Callie the front desk clerk handed me a pile of unfolded towels and said “I didn’t have time to fold them.” Our room was humid and sticky despite the 60 degree temp. Breakfast was not refilled and the coffee creamer remained empty one breakfast. We have stayed here several times but this will probably be the last.

I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but there was a good variety of food. Our room was very clean. It’s close to everything.

The front desk associate was professional, helpful and friendly. Beds great ! Cleanliness A+. Breakfast associate kind and helpful , kept everything stocked. Oatmeal was delicious. Need more protein options for breakfast.

Breakfast was good, but not great. Staff was wonderful.

Bed was comfy, breakfast was appreciated. Tv didn't work, partner took the remote to the front desk. He was told it was likely the batteries, but no batteries in the building. Then he realized it was a 'maintence remote' and the TV was down for some time. Why sell the room with no TV? The toilet had dried poop in the bowl. After several flushes it still didn't go away. We stayed one night, but chose not to take showers as we had concerns of the actual cleanliness of the entire room. The hotel was "full" or he would've given us another room (parking lot was empty) and a $25 credit was offered as that's all he could provide. Haven't seen that yet but would appreciate more.

Friendly and competent staff. Breakfast didn't seem to be covered well. There seemed to be only one employee working there. Items were out, cold, the garbage cans were overflowing.

Lots of parking, access to major roads, and lots amenities close by.

Very enjoyable stay. Will do it again.
