Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland University Circle/Medical Center

Place was clean but parking wasn't free. $25 dollars a night but it is in a garage. Location was not far from anywhere that you would want to go which is highly convenient.

Location was great if you are needing to be near the Cleveland Clinic. I thought the free breakfast was generous and tasty. Some of the preparers need to use gloves when setting out the bagels. All the front desk individuals were helpful and courteous except for Andrea on our last day there, was a bit short tempered, especially when we know the main function of that location is to temporarily house individuals or family members needing medical care. Donovan went above and beyond with his front office care and concern. Room with kitchen was roomie and comfortable. They make transport within 1 mile of property free and so helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

It was fine. There were trash bags on our floor by the elevator that were never picked up the whole weekend we were there. But it was comfortable and the room seemed pretty clean, besides the pullout couch which had stains all over the bed. Definitely would only recommend if you are in a pinch.

Next time it would be nice to have everything needed for the sleeper sofa after we make the reservation for 4.

The location is in a nice neighborhood just a short comfortable walk to Cleveland Clinic, and the parking was very close to the hotel making loading and unloading luggage a snap. The room had every amenity you could need with a full kitchen, large fridge, desk by the window (could use more light there) and spacious shower. Everything I needed was in the exercise room, and I do love your lounge with the availability of a nice glass of wine. Breakfast was complete with waffles! This is my go-to hotel when I come to Cleveland Clinic. Thanks for another pleasant and relaxing stay. Can’t think of anything.

Nice property. Walking distance to Cleveland Clinic main campus. Nice rooms. Nice gym. The bed is a bit too soft, and the breakfast is just your usual mediocre Marriott standard.

We finished our errands and checked in late, around 10 p.m. The male staff member who assisted us was quite rude in the way he treated us and asked a number of unnecessary questions. In addition, the air conditioner made a loud, persistent noise throughout the night, which made it very difficult to sleep.

The freezer compartment of the room's refrigerator was packed with frost, yet it had simply been left as is without being cleared out. I didn't complain since I had no need to use the freezer, but it certainly didn't look good.

First day, my request was not even recorded anywhere. So nobody knew my request. Second day, my request was recorded, but nobody showed up. The third day, I called front desk and visited front desk and even talk to manager. I don’t understand why house keeping is so difficult. It is a basic job at hotels. This is my first experience in my life. I paid about $1,400 for 4 nights, so this hotel is not cheap place. Also I told at check in that I will use parking lot for 3 days only and the front desk confirmed that they will charge for 3 days only, but they charged me 4 days (i.e. $100 total, $25/day) eventually. I don’t want to talk with them anymore, so I am sharing my experience here.

The room was very spacious, but was not properly cleaned. I found an old towel from a previous guest in the office chair & a cabinet fl of oet snacks from a previous guest in the cabinet. The floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in the hallways and in the room. For the price you would expect more. During breakfast, the coffee was inoperable as well.

Our biggest concern was the pullout couch. There were multiple stains, I believe they were blood stains. I went to the front desk and the rep gave me a couple sheets to cover it up. I said in a nice way that this was unacceptable and she just said “ have a nice night” I just walked away and decided I’m never staying at a Marriott property again. After getting back to the room we noticed more hair on the king bed and there was a nasty stench in the room. Unfortunately the hotel staff didn’t seem to care

Hotel room was very clean but there was some water damage on the ceiling not sure if it was mold. Breakfast could have been stocked better. Would stay again tho.
