The Glidden House

Lovely historic building with full amenities. No “gym”, but who needs than when the neighborhood is walkable: Cleveland Botanic Garden and Case Western Reserve Univ. surround the property. Hope to have another oppt’y to stay!

Located right next to museums and botanical gardens.

The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Parking and breakfast was included. The Glidden House has an impressive architecture and has been restored to incorporate modern amenities while preserving and honoring its historic features. The gardens and surroundings are beautiful. The location is walking distance to museums, restaurants and shops. The staff was warm and welcoming. I would return here any day.

Overall very nice accommodations. My only complaint would be the breakfast. Breads, pastries, and waffles were served refrigerator cold and without a heating appliance made available to guests.

This was our second time staying at this hotel because we really liked it. However, this stay was a disappointing experience. The front desk assigned us a connecting room, and the guests next door had a large group of people. They kept talking loudly until midnight, which made it impossible for us to sleep. We called the front desk for help, but it seemed like no one was able to assist us.

We loved our stay! Such a neat place. Very quiet, comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing.

This historic building is a fantastic location to walk to the different museums on Wade Oval, walk to the symphony (always felt safe walking back after dark), checking out the restaurants on Euclid or in Little Italy where it's easier to walk, or just check out Case Western Reserve. Hidden gem with dedicated staff and great breakfast buffet. Stay here!

The breakfast was quite varied. While traveling it is nice to have some healthy choices, such as the fruit bowl and greek yogurt. The lady running the continental breakfast was excellent. She truly took care of the guests.

Great service, good breakfast, great bed. Easy Parking all around the building at $15 per 24 hours. I arrived an hour early and they let us park for 24 hours while we went to a museum the next day after checkout. Classy place and really close to the Art Museum etc

Loved this well maintained historical hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed the patio as well. Beds were super comfortable which was important for my 82 yr old husband. Mirror in the bathroom was well lit for hair and make up. We came while getting treatment at the Cleveland Clinic which is less than a mile away.

Really nice staff and great location. Easy to walk to museums and concert venues. Internet and air conditioning were spotty at times.

We love staying at the Glidden House. It's a beautiful property and is in a great location near the Cleveland Museum of Art and Botanical Garden. Easy walk to area restaurants. Great breakfast buffet. And love the original works of art throughout the hotel!

Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the history and charm of the Glidden House. The location was great. Unfortunately, our room had a strong musty smell that was not pleasant. Unfortunately, we could not open the windows. Rooms need updates.
