Wonderful renovation of the old Glidden mansion

Very European in feeling, a lovely breakfast and Courtyard. Incredible location: museums , walking area, only half a mile from Little Italy with great restaurants. Would absolutely stay there again

This is the perfect place to stay in beautiful landscaped area and surroundings. The following are less than a half-mile away: exquisite French restaurant, botanical gardens, Cleveland Museum of Art, free summer music concert in a big open field. Breakfast is scrumptious and has everything you could want including freshly made scones and eggs!

That it was served until 10:00 am. Area was kept clean. Food was cold. Not easy to navigate. There was no juice.

The beds are super comfy.. it was like sleeping on a cloud The price was a little high

They had the basics: scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast, yogurt, and oatmeal. The buffet line was easy to navigate. The breakfast rooms were comfortable The breakfast beverages were in two different places. The food was okay. It lacked more fruit options (there was only a fruit salad available.)

My friend and I stayed overnight because we were going to a concert. The location was great and we walked to visit the lovely Cleveland Botanical Garden from the hotel. The breakfast is top-notch.

Parking can be a bit tricky as it is limited. The breakfast had a good selection, however, would have been tasted much better if it were warmer. Thank you for a lovely room and friendly staff!

Staff was very kind and helpful

We love the location and historic appeal of the Glidden House. So much is walkable, including the Cleveland Museum of Art and a wonderful restaurant, L’ Albatros. It is a lovely neighborhood and part of the Case campus. A nice renovation has been started but our bathroom still had an older tub/ shower. There are no grips in the bottom of the tub or bars and that felt a bit unsafe. But… lovely view of the garden from our room and terrific electric window shades that allow both light and privacy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Glidden House. The hotel is charming, cozy, and impeccably clean, with so much character. The location felt very safe and was perfect for our visit to Cleveland. The breakfast was excellent, and what truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was phenomenal—from the front entrance team to the bar staff and breakfast service. A special thank you to James, the concierge, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed chatting with him and appreciated the personal touch he brought to our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

We love this place!

The Glidden House was nostalgic and more quaint than large hotels. The breakfast was very good. A nice variety. So many things to see are in walking distance. The fantastic restaurants of Little Italy were very close. The location was perfect. Even if you’re there for a visit to Cleveland Clinic, this makes the trip better. Parking was so easy and less expensive. The staff was professional and kind. I will stay there again.

The Glidden was a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, attentive staff and a good breakfast. The historic building is very well maintained and the surrounding area is wonderful with a variety of museums and activities to keep you exploring.
