The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Not really much. Most staff were rude and unaccommodating. Fred (daytime front desk) obviously doesn't like to work. He just sits and listens to the phone ring. Doesn't offer receipts. Is rude and acts annoyed if you have a question. Also my money is completely screwed by this establishment and I fully expect to have to argue for refunds either through banking or booking. Everything. Floors were raised, faucets were coming out of the sinks, dirty socks were still in the stained up fold out couch, coffee splatter stains on the wall in the kitchen area. For almost $300/night this place is garbage.

The staff was so nice! I interacted with 2 different people at the front desk and they were both very polite. I also interacted with a house keeper and she was very nice. The cookies were also a nice touch

John and James (shuttle drivers) were so amazing and kind. The check-in and out staff were wonderful and so helpful. And even the maintenance man was awesome. Thank you all, I hope to stay here again.

Ate at the bar and had to wait a long while to even get waited on as there was only one server.

The staff was very friendly and the shuttle driver was great, although the shuttle smelled strongly like gas. I booked a three night stay and chose The Tudor because I loved the old antique feel. I’ve stayed in castles and very old hotels before, so “old” doesn’t bother me, but this just felt old and not well maintained. My room smelled, the floors were sticky, and at night I could hear what sounded like a rodent shuffling around. I couldn’t sleep and ended up checking out less than 10 hours into my three-night stay. Unfortunately, it was a really rough experience.

Hotel is desperately in need of a makeover. No charm whatsoever. The person who checked us in was surly, though the one who checked us out and breakfast staffer were great. Our room door took forever to close and you had to really work to get it to latch. The lobby was downright depressing. Doubletree needs to overhaul this property.

Im calling Hilton and filing a formal complaint.

Location We chose this because it’s historic hotel. But the beautiful parts are for wedding only and eating facility for hotel guests are ordinary.

Great location if your going to the Cleveland Clinic. But I found the room to be way under the standards of Hilton. Verging on depressing. The floors felt sticky. The shade in the room was broken and crooked. I thought it was going to be a charming old hotel. Wrong

Had a great time, the room was very nice. Hotel is old—the building is grand, but they were working on some maintenance issues. Breakfast was $18, I skipped it
