Residence Inn by Marriott Detroit Sterling Heights

This is amongst ALL of the Hotels listed in thee entire suburban southeastern outskirts of Metro Detroit. Its one of the nicest, cleanest hotels within Marriot surrounding the Hall Rd area. Rooms feel enormous. They are intended for i suppose extended stays equipped with dishwashers, refridgerators, comfy living rooms and soft set bedding. They also provide a breakfast you'd probably have to pay generously anywhere else. Coffee all day along with workout facility..washer and dryer on site along with a beautiful indoor swimming pool. For being located beautifully within a suburbia shopping/living district it sits comfortably just off of Hayes Road offset by a Lowes and other conveniences!! Enjoy your stay!!

We stayed for 4 nights. Never asked if we needed housekeeping service to provided any. A halfway check for garbage and clean towels would have been nice

Great place for families to stay plenty of room

Everything was great but the beds are not comfortable

Kitchen sink wouldnt drain and dishwasher wasnt even sitting under the cabinet. Its not attached at all and if you try to open it, it just pulls out. Garbage cans were not emptied out and didnt have any wash cloths had to ask for some at desk. Front desk was very friendly and offered all kinds of apologies for the issues, and of course the pool is still out of service. Stayed here a mounth ago and was out of service then as well. Very nicely supplied gym though.

Great staff

Room could use a better cleaning. Microwave and cabinets were filthy and the body wash dispenser in shower was empty. The pool was the only reason i even booked so the kids could do something and it was closed down. I kbow it was a free breakfast but it was very poor. Just some toast and walffles and pre made jimmy dean sandwiches.

Friendly staff, convenient location. Pool a bit chilly but definitely would stay again.

Everything was good. We notified the front desk of a water leak from the bathroom sink on Sunday morning. A ticket was made for Maintenance to handle after we checked out on Monday morning. They offered profusely to move us to another room but we declined. We had a suite and could use the kitchen sink. Breakfast staff were professional, even willingly cleaning up when another guest (young kid) got sick in the dining area. Enjoyed our stay very much.
