Hair by the pool for both days swimming, tea towel sized pool towels, cloudy pool water, first room our door didn't lock and phone was unplugged with cord missing...very odd (thankfully staff tried to be helpful but ended up moving rooms), holes in my bedding, no breakfast options (no yogurt, muffins, fruit - with over and hour of breakfast left.), shady elevator, sheets too small, tired furniture and overall unhygienic feel. The staff were kind in all of our interactions which gives this rating an extra star. I hate to leave poor reviews but it is unfair to book this thinking you're getting a 4 star hotel. Oh yea and no hot tub...

Midnight shift personnel was the best. Lady in the afternoon/evening had people come in my room when I was sleeping between 10:30-11:00 pm. She was not focused nor pays attention. Morning staff was great too. Need more fruit options for breakfast. Besides an unexpected person in my room waking me up, everything else was good. Thank you

Morning breakfast the waffle machine wasn’t working. It didn’t work until the last day that I was there.

The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly . Only complaint is that breakfast stops at 9 on weekdays so we were not able to eat in the morning and had to go to breakfast instead.

We there for three days and the room was never cleaned and we never received clean towels and the ice machine on our floor did not work and had to go have our key cards reactivated after two days

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS TRASHY DISGUSTING PROPERTY.

Checked in at 6:00 PM checked out 30 minutes later TV didn’t work and no plug to charge your phone that works it’s time to go. The hotel staff was so rude. Ask for help no maintenance guy on site.

This was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in the 6 decades of my life. Horrible place. Checked in by an incompetent employee who had no idea what she was doing. I will explain more later about her in detail... The room was dirty with broken down furniture and marred walls, doors, baseboards separated from the walls, etc... awful room. Only two hangers in the closet. Went to the front desk and was only given 3 more. Hilarious. The sink was clogged and unusable. The shower had a woman's long black hair stands (from a weave I'm guessing). When I pulled back the covers on the bed there were two more long strands of black hair. Under the top sheet!!! OMG disgusting. It was clear to me the room was not cleaned and linens not changed between customers! On the third day I left at 0900 and returned at 9p.m. The room was not cleaned and there were NO LINENS replaced in the room... We had none! I went to the front desk and the woman at the desk was the same on that checked me in. It was OBVIOUS that she was on some sort of substance. She was starring into space on the computer, helping another customer but in a catatonic state, not speaking or moving. Unbelievalble. When I finally was able to get her to come down to earth for a moment, I explained my concern and then she told me that housekeeping is ONLY ONCE PER WEEK. Are you kidding me!!!??? The workers dine with the guests and there were guests that were in the breakfast area without shoes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY1

Cheap clean room with a hot shower, older hotel has wear but I wasn’t there to be impressed I was there for a quick visit and needed everything that was provided!

Because of these conditions, we returned to the front desk, turned in our key cards, and informed the staff that we would be finding another place to stay. Surprisingly, no one asked why we were leaving or attempted to address our concerns. The front desk associate simply responded, “You’re all set.”

Don't let the low price fool you. Great hotel and incredible staff. Nice rooms and great location. You can walk to Dave and Busters. Easy access to M59.

When four of us arrived for a three day stay in order to attend a funeral, our confirmed reservations for two rooms with two beds were not honored. One reservation was through Expedia and the other through the front desk of LaQuinta, Utica MI. We were given two rooms with king beds. By the second night, the problem was corrected and we were given two rooms with two beds. We were astounded that confirmed reservations were not honored.

Great and quite place and the workers was wonderful

All the staff were wonderful. The downfall was the tub was very slippery. Our door would not shut properly. They didn’t have enough towels to accommodate everyone. Breakfast was at a minimal. Eggs were wet. There was no meat served either day even though we were told there would be it just was not a very good overall experience this weekend. We stayed there last year and it was phenomenal.

King suite: Room smelled fresh but was worn out carpet ripped and comforter was ripped. Staff was friendly
