I was assigned a room that apparently had known TV issues since the repair guy attempted to come in at 9am the morning after I checked in, then never returned at any point during my stay to actually fix it. Front desk staff were constantly scrolling their personal phones rather than being present at the actual desk. Power outage during my stay only emphasized how unhelpful the staff was as they provided zero assistance.

The room smelled musty and like smoke. Air conditioner was loud and could not sleep all night.

Staff acted like they hated their job and we did not get clean towels, and the coffee was not set up each morning at all.

We stayed 5 nights and asked multiple times to get our room cleaned, which it never did. The front desk was happy to give more towels, pillows and blankets. The tv went in and out as it pleased and the tub/shower barely drained. Our concerns continued to go unaddressed.

The only issue I had was the design of the TV with the cable box. My wife and I like to bring a roku stick to watch our programs from home. The roku stick would not work unless it was plugged into the HDMI 1 slot. Once on that slot, however, the TV remote would not control the sound at all. When we attempted to use it on the HDMI 2 or 3 slots, the TV would not connect at all. The room was comfortable otherwise. It would make more sense to allow the TV to function like factory normal settings and allow you to switch inputs on the device. I will be testing this same issue out next week when I stay at another Marriott location. If this is a Marriott standard, then I may reconsider staying at these chains in the future.

The bar was not opened. They advertise Starbucks coffees but didn’t know how to make them. We didn’t try the breakfast food
