Best Western Plus Des Moines West Inn & Suites

Room was clean enough, bed was ok.

Deplorable condition. Cockroach walking over the bed. We had to leave early because the sanitary condition was unacceptable.

Staff wasn’t helpful with blankets when asked for one extra, room had crushed chips in drawers, woke up called front desk at 8:30am to ask when breakfast was over, was told 11am. then came down stars to that not being the case. asked why I was mis-informed, the lady then insulted me by arguing. Was woke at 5am to DING DONG DITCH on my door. My stay was not great.

There was nothing that really was a like. I had to tolerate and accept what we booked for a softball tournament. All of it. The staff was rude, no one came to clean the room after we requested multiple times, the pool had so much chlorine that the bathing suits became discolored, breakfast was horrendous (we saw staff using their bare hand to put out cereal in the holder and yogurt, fruit was mushy and old), they had travlers not staying at the hotel sleeping in their cars in the parking lot and coming in to use the bathroom or eat breakfast, location didn't feel comfortable, and a grown man was recording the girls from our softball team that when it was mentioned to staff it never was addressed or followed up.

The room was clean , bed was comfy and breakfast very good (biscuits and gravy)

Basically your standard Best Western. Clean. Comfortable and basically updated.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Highly recommend!

The room was quiet and comfortable. My wife had surgery scheduled before 6am, so we can't comment on the breakfast.

Very clean rooms great breakfast with a very clean serving and dining area. We really enjoyed our stay!

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in a very long time!!!!! There was no real bathroom as the tub and stool was in a little room and the sink mirror was right by the door to the broom, so several times as I was without clothes my wife opened the door to go somewhere as people walked by!!!!! If you opened the door when another person was at the sink you got hit!!!!! I had requested a walk in shower as I'm handicapped only got a tub with one grab bar!!!! I will never ever stay at a BEST WETERN HOTEL again!!!!!!
