Super 8 by Wyndham Coeur d'Alene

We booked this hotel online and went off of other people‘s reviews. We were pleased with our stay and found everything to be really good and our dog liked it too.

Bed was so comfortable with great bedding. The room was quite nice! The breakfast could have been a little better. It was more like continental breakast but it was adequate.

The room was clean and stocked with towels. No ice machine on the 3rd floor. Free cookies at check in were tasty! They did not notify us at check in about WiFi or breakfast but we figured it out. Nice stay for family. No elevator!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has no elevator so going up and down four flights of stairs when I am disabled was horrible and left my spouse to carry everything. They didn’t have another room (so they said) on a lower floor. We had 2 rooms. My daughter and kids were on the first floor and their AC wasn’t working well and my spouse and I were on the third floor. We couldn’t swap due to only 1 bed in our room and two in hers. I was surprised by the tiny garbage cans in the room which we had to put the bags in ourselves. One bar of hand soap, no paper or pens and the lady at the front desk mostly ignored you when you were standing there. For the price the hotel could be updated. No pool, no gym, and put in an elevator! The breakfast has no options for gluten free and my daughter has a wheat and gluten allergy. We won’t be staying there in the future and mostly due to the responses or lack of responses by the front desk staff. They are too busy talking to each other. They couldn’t be bothered by us.

I didn't understand when housekeeping would empty the trash they wouldn't put a new liner in. They left one on the rim of the can and I guess the guest is supposed to take care of it. Also I had a coffee packet in the room when I checked in but it was never replaced after I used it.

The room smelled musty. The ac didn't stay on.

Breakfast was very disappointing and had to climb 3 levels of stairs to even get to the room

room was not clean--hairs in toilet, sink and tub areas. I had to clean them before use. Fridge was odorous. Breakfast foods were packaged and tasted terrible. Staff was nice.

Breakfast was well rounded. Customer service was friendly and accomedating. The property was mid upgrade and very crisp and clean everywhere we went. Bonus was the great pricing for the studio. We'll defenitly look to Super 8 next time we visit the area.
