Aloft by Marriott College Station

We had a nice last-minute stay and enjoyed the pool and also playing pool. We had a great night sleep in the quiet hotel and would stay here again.

The coffee is bad in the rooms and in the lobby.

The room was very clean and the staff was fantastic. Very comfortable bed, linens and pillows. Had a really nice stay. The only thing that I could ask for is better water pressure. Everything else was excellent!

The tile in the shower is not well suited for a wet surface, it gets really slippery, especially when it get soapy! I suspect a lot of people have fallen and hurt themselves, especially older customers.

Our room was in terrible condition. The bathroom (specifically the shower) was disgusting. The entire bathroom looked like it got a landlord special to cover up all the things that weren’t fixed properly. Stain on the bed headboard (gross). The ac unit was working but broken and looked “melted”. We had stayed here 4-5 years ago and it was in good shape. Stay away from this property. Just gross. I actually went and bought flip flops just so I could feel comfortable showering. The common areas were clean. But room was gross.

No bartender was ever seen after multiple visits. Shower floor and bathroom walls dirty and crumbling.
