Breakfast and overall experience and comfort Cleanliness could be better

The hotel was undergoing renovation. Wish we were informed well in advance about that so we could better plan our stay. We only found out when we reached there. The hotel was stinking near the entrance. The rooms were old and had dust on lighting fixtures. No hot water in the bathroom sink faucets. Shower didn’t have consistent water flow. Breakfast was alright, not bad. I have definitely stayed at better Hampton Inns, this was disappointing. Glad my stay was only for a night.

Nothing My daughter was stuck in the restroom for 30 mins due to the handle coming off from the inside. A hotel worker showed up with a screwdriver, a crowbar and a credit card to get her out! Then the front desk clerk laughed at us and the manager was “at dinner” and never showed up to help us.

The property was dirty and run-down. There were holes in the lobby walls. The room was not clean at all. I found a dried up contact lens in the bathroom, that was not ours. There was hair in the tub, again not ours. The room had a musty smell and the floors were not clean. The elevators were also dirty and not maintained. There was loud construction happening during most of the day and it was extremely loud in the room. Overall, the property was not taken care of. I will never stay here again.

Was not the room we paid for and basically was told “sorry, but too bad”. Other residents had bad experiences as well. Not a good representation for College Station.

Property is under remodeling. The inside of the hotel smelled and was dirty. It was hard to enjoy with such poor conditions.

The property is poorly maintained but well located. Our room was not cleaned properly, the bed cover had a big red stain under it. The breakfast lacked fruits. We opted out of an extra night and looked for proper accommodation elsewhere in Aggieland. Management have us a refund which ve appreciated. Book elsewhere if you can folks.

Hotel was relatively quiet, even with the construction occurring and the alarm in the neighboring parking garage. Room was missing curtains and the blinds didn't close well. Strong thunderstorm with heavy rain during the night, and the window leaked. The AC was directly under the window, so we were concerned on water reaching the power plugs.

Location to Reed Arena was good. Room needed a good cleaning. I reserved a room with two double beds received 1 king and a pull out.The pull out was horrible. The shower curtain had dried snot on it.

Everything good, it’s just that the hotel is undergoing renovations and that is always a pain. Just bad timing.

The carpet needs replacing and the furniture updated.i.I added a night because Iwas suffering from lower back issues and did not feel able drive home to Jasper. Sadly I coupd not get the rate I had had Wed. & Thurs with Travelocity. And my Friday cost me almost a $100 more than Wed and Thur together. Thiat was disappointing. 81 yr old Senior.

Location Desperately needs remodel

The breakfast was very good. The food was fresh and kept hot/cold. The bed was comfortable. The towels were nice and big and too hard and scratchy. Check in/out on the app is convenient. The digital key is very nice. The hotel needs updating. The faucet in the bathroom dripped. The carpets in the hallway were wrinkled and hard to navigate with a walker. I thought the rate was a little high for the quality.

The lobby had a very bad sewer smell on entry. The carpet is old but the accommodation was satisfactory. Not the top pick when we visit College Station but was the best price during a spike.

Location The unprofessionalism of staff (2nd shift)
-
It was near by the venue we were going to. Friendly staff

Hallway carpets not vacuumed, old linens on beds, worst breakfast ever, powered eggs, cold oatmeal, instant breakfast beverage ( can’t call it coffee) and over all bad experiance
-
Close to campus It looked third world. There were data lines running down the halls. Carpet was dirty in lobby and hallways. Smelled moldy and musty. We didn’t even stay the night. We left and went somewhere else.
-
The breakfast was mid at best and food ran out fast. Lots of light leaking into the room from window and doorway. Staff was a little unresponsive.
