The ac was not working in the actual hotel itself but thankfully the rooms were cool. We always try to stay at Home 2 Suites when we travel especially in other states. The College Station location seems subpar compared to the many others we’ve stayed at previously.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean, breakfast was great. It's conveniently located near A&M campus.

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and spacious room.

All was great

Breakfast was yummy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Disappointed that the pool was not working while we were there, the refrigerator was not clean in our room, it appeared to have melted ice cream in the freezer. The hallway needed to be vacuumed. There was a broke off fingernail in the floor of the hallway the entire stay in front of my room.

The location was great. Convenient in regards to Texas A&M which was the purpose of our visit. We had a maintenance crew come into our room two hours before checkout to disassemble the air conditioning unit and remove it for cleaning. We were in the middle of getting ready, changing clothes, packing our bags, etc…and so the timing of this maintenance was terrible. Then the room quickly got hot because we no longer had an air conditioner so we just packed up and got out of there as soon as we could because we were so uncomfortable.

After arrival, check-in and getting to our 4th floor room, I attempted to contact the front desk with the house phone to request extra pillows but the room phone didn't work. I checked the wire connections between the phone and wall outlet. It was connected properly but dead. So I had to make a trip to the front desk to obtain the pillows and tell them about the phone. They said they'd report it to maintenance. Despite complaints, the phone was never fixed during our 3 day stay which meant any time we needed to contact hotel management for our family, it meant a round trip down a long hallway and an elevator ride to the front desk. I had to do this at least a half dozen times, and when you're elderly as I am, it's more than a mere annoyance. Further, it meant that should there have been a life safety issue requiring guest notification, we wouldn't have been reached. Next, during our stay the room was not cleaned once, even though we were told their rooms are cleaned every other day. When I reported this the evening of the 2nd day on our way out to dinner, they said they had inadvertently left the room off the housekeeping list and that the housecleaning staff had left for the day. Upon our return we discovered that in our absence someone had at least brought fresh bath linens and emptied the room's wastebaskets. On the bright side of our stay was the breakfast buffet, which I thought was exceptional,. But all in all, not the best guest experience.

Stayed here for my daughters graduation and I will be booking with this hotel again in the future.

Breakfast, parking, location were all great. The staff was good. My room had a smell when I checked in, but the staff member quickly resolved it. Even with the A/C on high, the room was humid, and a dehumidifier was not provided (it was requested).

The staff is fantastic. The room was not that great. Bathroom above the shower was falling apart.

The gym area is pretty cool. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is simple, but good. The waffles are the best, orange juice is fantastic and not watered down. We will be returning to this property with no hesitation. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning soon. Thank you so much for the generous hospitality!!
